Addressing Certain Matters

 

Hi guys! I hope you are all doing very well. This a post I have felt the need to put together because there a number of different things which I would like to address and also notify you guys of. I feel like this is going to become a fairly long post, so I hope you all are sitting comfortably and have a hot beverage to keep you going.

 

Fifty Shades Ending
The first matter that I would like to address is the ending of Fifty Shades of Raizada. Since I have announced that I am going to soon end Fifty Shades, I have received a lot of messages all across my different social media platforms asking for the story not to be ended.

I’m afraid that despite the requests, I am still going to bring Fifty Shades of Raizada to a close. I’m not going to go into detail again about why because I have explained in my other post, but I would like to take this moment to reassure everyone that I will end the story properly. Later today, part 10 of Fifty Shades is going up and I have currently written up to part 17. I am telling you all this because I want you to understand that just because I have said I am ending the story, it doesn’t mean that I am pulling it off within the next few chapters. There is still quite a bit to go and I think I will bring it to an end by chapter 20. So rest assured I am not just ending it abruptly, it will get a proper ending, one I hope everyone will be happy with. My plan is to try and end this story by the end of the year, but we will have to see what happens.

 

Unwanted Returning
As one story ends, it’s time to start thinking about the return of another. As many of you know, I had put Unwanted on a pause when the first half of the story ended. I am now ready to bring Unwanted back. I have established the storyline and I’m ready and super excited to start writing it again!
I think the storyline is going to be quite different to anything I have written previously and due to that I think you guys are really going to enjoy it. Also, I am going to continue writing it in first person, as I had done previously because that’s a style of writing I really like, but don’t tend to use enough.

So yes, Unwanted, will be returning very, very soon so stay tuned! Also, it maybe a good idea to go back and read chapters 1-19 because there will be details from there which will be important going forward in the story. As the break has been long, you guys may have forgotten certain details and it will help to have a refresher! I’ve had to read it back so many times myself to make sure that the storyline is correct and what I am planning is going to make sense.

 

Scheduling
The next point I would like to talk about is scheduling. Since the beginning of this year, I have had a very regular uploading system, wherein I post new chapters to my main stories (Fifty Shades and Jalebi) one a fortnight. This means that each story is being updated once a month, every month. Now I understand that this isn’t a lot. But I really need people to understand that it takes a lot of time to write chapters and to get them edited properly. So please, please do not complain about scheduling and how long it takes me to update because I really am doing my best so that I can get good quality work up all the time.

I also would like to take this moment to say that if I wasn’t doing anything else, I would surely be writing and posting more, however, I am at university, so I’m very busy during term time, and I also work 2 jobs.

Due to this, I cannot speed up the process and give you more chapters more frequently. However, I am looking at potential scheduling changes, I will talk more on that later.

 

Spam comments
I recently received an email for WordPress alerting me about the number of Spam comments that had been flagged and that are awaiting moderation. I started scrolling through them, but there was just far far too many to look through. Due to this, I would like to request to everyone that if you are posting a comment and it isn’t appearing on my blog, it could be because there is something within that comment which is causing it to be flagged for spam.

In order to avoid having your comment marked for spam, I request everyone not to use any kind of strong language in comments and to keep general chit chat to a minimum. If you would like to have a chat with me, that is fine, I have a number of social media accounts where I do talk to people. I will link them all below, so please drop me a line on there instead of on here.

 

Potential scheduling changes
Over my summer break, I’ve been really busy, getting as much writing done as possible and I am quite far ahead in terms of updates. I’ve got over 20 pieces of work in my drafts, waiting to be edited and then scheduled.
I was considering changing my uploading schedule for a brief period of time so that I can get some of these updates up sooner than they were meant to.

However, as I am going back to university from tomorrow, I’m not sure how much time I am going to have to actually write from next week. So I have decided that I will stick to my schedule as it is until the end of October and if I am still able to write consistently, then from November until the end of the year I will upload a new chapter of either Fifty Shades or Jalebi every week.

If I do do this, it will only be for November and December though, from the new year, I will definitely have to go back to my current schedule.

Again this is only a potential plan, I’m not sure yet if I will change how I upload, but I am considering the temporary change.

 

Endings and New Beginnings
As many of you know, Pardesi Pyaar is nearing its end. As you guys are reading this, I will probably be busy writing part 15 which will be the final part!
I hope you guys will enjoy the last couple of chapters and I hope you have been enjoying the journey overall. Thank you for joining me on this journey to South Africa! I know some people will have expected more twists and turns to the story, however it was an SS and my initial plan had always been to only have between 10 and 15 chapters. So considering the fact that I have taken it up to the full 15, is the reason why I couldn’t have included more twists as it would have lengthened the story more and I didn’t want that.

However, please don’t be sad that Pardesi Pyaar is ending! The ending of one story marks the new beginning of another story.
I have a new SS idea which I haven’t started working on but I do have a slight plan for. Initially I had thought I would start writing it and posting it as soon as Pardesi ended, however I have now decided that I will try and start getting it up from the beginning for the new year instead. By doing this, it will give me more time to focus on my fanfics (Fifty Shades and Jalebi) and really start moving them further along.

So stay tuned because a new short story will be joining my collection of stories from the new year!

 

One Shots
Many of you may have realised that I have really, really been enjoying writing one shots recently. It’s been lots of fun and I have loads of ideas for one shots that I really want to get down.

This is just a short note to say that I have A LOT of one shots lined up, both in the editing stage and in the planning stage so there will be one shots being dropped every now and again. A lot of them will be a part of the IPKKND Remake series, however I do have quite a few original ideas as well! So I hope you guys will enjoy them when they come out.
