Pardesi Pyaar ~ Part 6

Arnav, Khushi, Karl and Katie all walked into the hotel where the after party was being held. The majority of their class mates were already there but there was still more people to come.

Karl offered Katie his arm and they left Arnav and Khushi.

“If you need either of us just call, otherwise, enjoy you’re not.”

They walked away. Khushi turned to Arnav and smiled.

“So…”

“So… Erm do you want to get a drink?”

Now, Khushi wasn’t one to usually drink, however, she was feeling super nervous. One drink wouldn’t do any harm, it would just help her to calm her nerves.

“Can I just have a white wine.”

“Yeah sure.”

Arnav ordered Khushi’s wine, and got himself a beer. He wasn’t much of a drinker himself but he didn’t want Khushi to feel uncomfortable drinking on her own.

The bartender handed their drinks over and they took a seat on the bar stools. Khushi took a little sip of her drink. She didn’t like the taste, however it did make her feel warm inside.

“You look beautiful tonight.”

“Thank you, you look really good too.”

The music around them was loud and the room was dim. Arnav leaned in close to Khushi and they spoke about their plans for where they were going next in life.

“I’m probably going to stay here for a few weeks with my dad and then I think I’m going to go back to India. You?”

“I think I’m going to stay but then I want to go back, I miss being back in India.”

“I’m sure you do. Your family must be missing you too.”

The mention of family caught Khushi off guard. She took another long sip of her wine.

“I don’t have any family.”

“What do you mean?”

“I’m an orphan.”

Arnav felt momentarily stumped. He didn’t know what to say.

“I’m so sorry, I didn’t know.”

“It’s alright, I never told you so, it’s not your fault.”

“Do you want to talk about it?”

“Not really.”

Arnav didn’t want to press the matter. It was obvious she didn’t want to talk about it. Maybe in time she would open up, but right now, she didn’t and he didn’t want to force her. Khushi carried on sipping on her wine until it was all gone. Arnav had barely touched his beer, but he was glad that Khushi hadn’t noticed.

“Do you want to dance?”

Nodding, Khushi got to her feet and Arnav off his. He offered her his hand and led her to the dance floor. Between the time that they had arrived and now, the dance floor had really filled up, with most people on it, dancing, laughing, enjoying themselves.

“I wonder where Katie and Karl got to?”

“Did you know, Karl has a huge crush on Katie.”

“He does?!”

“Yeah he does. Do you think Katie will like him back?”

“I’m not sure, I mean she hadn’t dated a lot of people since I’ve known her so I don’t really know.”

“Well I hope it works out for them, he’s really into her.”

Arnav held Khushi close as they talked and danced. Arnav let his hand brush over Khushi’s exposed arm. Sparks flew between both of them, the touch was electrifying. She should have taken a step back, but instead Khushi took a step forward, getting even closer to Arnav.

He wrapped his arm around he waist, pulling her closer to himself. Khushi closed her eyes as she leaned into Arnav, her face resting on his chest.

She knew she shouldn’t get this close, but the feeling of his arm around her waist and his hand on her body did something to her and Khushi wanted to get as much of it as she could before she had to let go. Arnav kissed the top of Khushi’s head and she looked up, eyes wide.

“I… I don’t know why I did that, it was an impulsive move I didn’t even…”

Before Arnav could proceed with his apology, Khushi had leaned in and pressed her lips against his. Arnav was shocked and for a moment stood her, not knowing what to do. Then his eyes closed to and he slipped into the moment and kissed her back. It was a light kiss, nothing heavy, no opened mouthed, no tongues and it only lasted for a very short amount of time before Khushi came to her senses and realised what she’d done.

Pulling away, Khushi gasped and raised her hands to her lips.

“I’m so sorry, I don’t even know what came over me.”

“It’s okay.”

“Arnav I…”

“Really, its fine.”

They both stood there, taking a step back from their close embrace when Arnav’s phone began to ring. He pulled it out of his pocket and was about to let the phone go to voicemail when he saw that it was his dad.

“I’m so sorry, but I have to take this, it’s my dad.”

“Oh yeah sure, go ahead.”

Arnav weaved his way off the dance floor and went outside so that he could take his call. Khushi thanked the stars because she felt things becoming a little awkward. What was she thinking? Why did she kiss him like that? Khushi shook her head and made her way over to the bar where she asked for another glass of wine.

She still didn’t like the taste, but Khushi downed the glass in one go and then asked for another. The alcohol in her body made her feel warm and made her feel that tiny bit more confident and she needed that right now, especially after the moment she and Arnav had just shared.

Arnav came back a few minutes later and found Khushi hovering by the bar.

“Is everything okay?”

“Yeah, my dad was just needed me to send something to Di, it’s all good, you okay?”

“Yeah, yeah I’m great! Can we dance some more?”

“Sure.”

Taking Khushi’s hand, he led her back onto the dance floor. The music was fast and everyone around them was getting super intimate with their dancing. The boys had their hands all over the girls and the girls were all up against the guys. Khushi was so glad she had decided to drink the extra wine.

They got onto the dance floor and began to move. Arnav wrapped an arm around her waist once more and Khushi wrapped her arms around his neck. They moved in time with the music, Arnav letting his hands travel along her body, feeling her curves.

“I really want to kiss you.”

“Then kiss me.”

Arnav leaned in and kissed Khushi, her lips parted and he placed his between hers. Khushi’s hold on Arnav tightened as he felt along her body, letting his lips caress hers. His hands were playing havoc on her skin and Khushi could feel all kind of sensations within her. She ground her body against his, making him intensify the kiss. Their bodies rocked into each other, imitating a much more intimate game.
Arnav came up for air and ran his hand along Khushi’s face.

“Let’s go upstairs?”

“What’s upstairs?”

“Rooms.”

Nodding, Arnav led Khushi off the dance floor and they made their way over to reception and booked themselves a room. The way up to the room was filled with sexual tension. They wanted to get back onto each other, but both resisted the urge until they got into the privacy of a room.

Once in the room, Arnav pressed Khushi up against the door and let his hands touch her once more before pressing his lips onto hers. His tongue caressed her lips, asking for entrance and Khushi parted her lips for him. They deepened the kiss and Arnav’s hands slid up to Khushi neck, holding her close. Khushi’s hands slid under Arnav’s shirt, touching his abs. Pulling her hands out from under his shirt, Khushi started fumbling with the buttons on Arnav’s shirt. Taking the buttons off, one at a time, Khushi let her fingers touch the skin she was exposing.

Arnav broke the kiss and took a step back.

“Aren’t we going too fast?”

Shaking her head, Khushi stepped back up to Arnav and kissed him ones more. Her hands pushed his shirt away and let her hands run over the planes of his muscular back and Arnav let himself pull down the zip of Khushi’s dress. Khushi moved closer to him, pushing him back until the back of his knees hit the edge of the bed. Arnav fell back, pulling Khushi down with him. He flipped her, so she was below him as he kissed her neck. Khushi moaned out and wrapped her arms around his neck, grinding her body against his. Enjoying what was happening, Arnav almost let himself get carried away, his fingers sliding under her dress, but then he came to his senses. Getting to his feet, he looked down at her for a moment before picking his shirt up. Khushi opened her eyes.

“What’s wrong Arnav?”

“We can’t do this.”

Getting to her feet, Khushi straightened her dress out and moved closer to him.

“I think I’m falling in love with you Arnav.”

“We’ve just met, this is too soon and Khushi, I think you’re slightly drunk.”

“I only had a couple of glasses of wine.”

“I know… But for now I think you just need to rest.”

“But I want you… I want do things with you.”

“And trust me Khushi, I want to do things with you as well, like really really want to. But not right now.”

“Don’t you like me?”

“I do! And trust me I really want to do what you want to do. But I don’t want to take advantage of you while you’re slightly tipsy.”

“But you wouldn’t be taking advantage of me, I know what I want.”

“I just want you to be 100% and I don’t think you are right now.”

Taking a step away from him, Khushi felt her cheeks burning due to embarrassment. She’d put herself on a plate for him and he was saying no?

But before Khushi could think further on the matter, she felt light headed and everything around her went dark.

Pardesi Pyaar ~ Part 5

IMG_0725

Graduation day had arrived and Khushi and Katie were at their home getting ready. Katie was curling her hair to perfection, whereas Khushi was making sure that her dress was just right.

“Are you sure it isn’t too short.”

“It’s fine! I asked some of the other girls what they were wearing and the length of your dress isn’t going to be an issue at all.”

“I really would prefer to wear something a bit longer.”

“Khush, you won’t even be able to see your dress under your robes and after graduation we’re going after party and the shorter the better right!”

Rolling her eyes, Khushi turned away and pulled her dress down that little bit more. She was used to wearing short dresses, but she just felt a bit self conscious today because she knew that should would be meeting up with Arnav after.

“Have you spoken to him?”

“Yeah he texted me last night and he said we’ll meet after the graduation ceremony.”

Making sure that they looked perfect and their hair was in place, Khushi and Katie grabbed their bags and left for their graduation.

*****

Taking their places, the graduation ceremony began. As Khushi was sitting down, she saw Arnav sitting a couple of rows in front of her. Arnav too saw her and gave her a little wave before he turned around and sat back down. Khushi couldn’t help but smile, she loved how he noticed her. She knew it wasn’t a big deal, but something about it just made her feel so warm and special. Like she mattered to him, like they may actually share something special and precious.

The ceremony began, and one course at a time, the class of 2017 graduated from their masters programmes. They went in alphabetical order of the courses so Arnav graduated before Khushi. When his name was called for him to collect his diploma, a number of people whooped for him and Khushi and Katie made sure they clapped extra loudly for him.

Arnav walked across the stage and joined his classmates. When every last member of the business class graduated, they left the stage and made their way back to their seats.

A little while later, it was time for Khushi and her literatature class to graduate. Just like with Arnav’s class, Khushi’s class took to the stage, one by one and collected their diplomas. When Khushi collected her diploma and walked across the stage, Arnav cheered for her and Khushi blushed a deep shade of red. She reached the rest of her classmates and waited as the rest of them too collected their diplomas.

Once everyone from the literature class had collected their diplomas, the audience cheered for them as they took their seats once more.

One by one everyone in the auditorium collected their diplomas until everyone in the room who was to collect their diploma, had collected their diploma.

“And that concludes the graduation ceremony for the class of 2017!”

The graduates all took their mortarboards off their heads and threw them up into the air do cheered. They did it! They’d graduated!

*****

Katie and Khushi had taken off their robes and had put them aside, ready for the night that was waiting for them.

“Are you sure I look okay?”

“You look perfect. Now stop worrying and look cool for when Arnav comes to find you.”

Khushi smoothed down her hair and pulled down her dress. A moment later, Arnav walked over to her.

“Hey.”

“Hi.”

“Congratulations!”

“Congrats to you too.”

Arnav and Khushi were lost in each other. Katie watched them and realised that they were long gone and that she needed to get their attention again.

“Ahem.”

Snapping out of their little trance, Arnav and Khushi looked up. Katie extended her hand to Arnav.

“Hi, I’m Katie.”

“Arnav.”

“Nice to meet you.”

“Same here. Should we get going ladies?”

The girls nodded and Arnav draped his arm around Khushi’s shoulders.

“Arnav! Wait up!”

Arnav and the girls stopped and saw Karl rushing over to them. Karl caught up with them, panting. He rested his hands on his knees as he got his breath back.

“I… Give me a second.”

Arnav, Khushi, and Katie watched with an amused expression as Karl stood there, hunched over breathing hard. After a moment, he straightened up.

“Hi, I’m Karl.”

“Katie.” Katie extended her hand and Karl shook it. Jackpot, he found her without even looking for her.

“And you must be Khushi, he hasn’t stopped talking about you.”

Blushing, Khushi looked up at Arnav who smiled down at her.

“Should we get going to the after party then?”

Everyone nodded and Arnav and Khushi walked in front of Karl and Katie, making small talk.

“So Katie, can I accompany you to the party?”

“You won’t ditch me will you?”

“I don’t intend to.”

“Then yes, you can accompany me. I don’t really fancy third wheeling those two.”

“How do you think it’s going to go down between them?”

“I don’t know, but I hope it goes well. Khushi hasn’t stopped thinking about him since she first met him.”

“Same with Arnav! He’s been going on about her for months.”

“I hope it works out between them. They seem really into each other.”

Karl and Katie continued to talk about their friends, whereas Arnav and Khushi continued to find out more about each other. Katie was glad to know that Arnav seemed to be as into Khushi as she was into him. It put her mind at ease, at least he seemed to care about Khushi the same way she did for him.
Karl led them to his car.

“I call shotgun! Is that okay with you Arnav?”

“Go for it.”

Katie fist pumped the air and got into the front passenger seat of the car, leaving Arnav and Khushi to sit at the back. Once everyone was seated and ready to go, Karl started the engine, shifted the car into drive and they were off towards their party venue to get their night started…

Usse Raat

Looking around the small room that she was locked in, Khushi realised there was no way out. The door was locked, there was no way she could leave. Closing her eyes, Khushi whispered Arnav’s name. She needed to find him, she knew he was in danger, but where was he? In her heart she knew he was close by, but how to find him?

“Arnav ji…”

Arnav felt it, he felt her close by. She was there, but how? She couldn’t be there?

“Khushi…”

Turning around, Arnav looked up to see the grill on the wall. It was fairly high up, but he realised he needed to have a look over. Surely she couldn’t be there? Walking over to the wall, he went right up against it.

“Khushi!”

Rushing towards the wall, Khushi pressed her ear against the wall. No? No way? Was he here?”

“Khushi!”

He was! He was there! He was on the other side of the wall. She’d found him. Tears began rolling down Khushi’s cheeks as she clutched the wall. She found him. Unable to get her voice out, Khushi stood there, resting against the wall, letting her tears tumble from her eyes.

Arnav looked around, he needed something so he could reach the ventilator. There were stacks and stacks of boxes, but were they safe? He kept looking and found the chair he had been tied to and pulled it over to the wall before standing up on it.

“Khushi, look up there’s a ventilator.”

“Yes I see it, I see it. One minute.”

Looking around, Khushi saw a table like thing. She pulled it out and pulled it over to the wall.

“Khushi careful.”

Pushing it up against the wall, Khushi careful stood on it and there before her was her husband. Tears rolled down Khushi’s cheek.

“You found me.”

“I knew, I knew something was wrong. I had a feeling right from the beginning, I knew you were in trouble.”

Pressing her fingers onto the grill, Khushi still couldn’t believe that she’d done it. She’d found him. Arnav connected his fingers with Khushi and they both stayed like this for a moment, just touching. The last time their fingers had connected, Arnav had pulled her hand away from hers, now, all he wanted was for this grill not to be there so he could hold her hand without any barriers between them.

“I need to break this grill.”

Tears still running down her face, Khushi clutched onto his fingers more tightly. She’d found him, she was touching him, she didn’t want to have to let go of him again.

“Khushi, do you want me to come to you?”

Khushi nodded, she wanted nothing more but to be close to him.

“Then I have to break this grill. Khushi, I’m right here, near you. But I need to break this grill so I can come to you. Okay?”

Nodding, Khushi lowered her hands as Arnav began to pull at the grill. The grill didn’t seem to be moving, and she wanted him near her. She needed his touch, she needed him close to her again. Khushi raised her hands to help him get rid of the grill.

“No Khushi don’t! I’m doing it, you’ll get hurt.”

Removing her hands from the grill, Khushi got down and waited for Arnav to come to her. He tried with all his might to take the grill off, but it wasn’t working. Time passed and Arnav kept trying.

“Arnav ji.”

“Don’t worry, I’m right here, I’m coming.”

Arnav continued to tug at the grill, but his efforts were futile. Khushi had enough of waiting so climbed back onto the table and looked at Arnav. She couldn’t help but smile.

“Khushi I told you to stay on that side and to wait!”

She continued smiling at him, and this annoyed him a little.

“What’s so funny? Why are you smiling?”

“It’s been so long since you’ve shouted at me.”

Arnav’s expression softened and tears rolled down his own face. He raised his hands to connect with Khushi’s, and they stood there, hands linked, not caring that there was still a barrier between them. For the first time in their relationship, this was the only barrier between them, this one tiny physical barrier. They were almost there, almost completely together.

“Khushi one second.”

Arnav got down from his chair and picked up a piece of rope. He threaded it onto the grill and Khushi looped it back and passed it back to Arnav. He prepared to pull, when a sudden thought hit him.

“Khushi, you said you knew I was in some kind of trouble. How?”

She closed her eyes, and recalled how he told her he loved her on the phone. It hadn’t made sense, they had parted on such bad terms, he’d pulled his hand away from hers, he’d walked away from her, not looking back as she called out to him and cried. It hadn’t made sense that after all that, all of a sudden he’d called her and told her he loved it.

“That day, you called and you said that…”

There was movement outside the room and Khushi stopped talking. Someone was coming back to check on them.

“Someone’s coming, Khushi get down. Quickly get down.”

Both Arnav and Khushi quickly got down and Khushi sat herself on the floor just as the kidnapper walked into the room.

“You still haven’t eaten your food. Why aren’t you eating?”

Khushi didn’t respond. She didn’t need to say anything to him, she didn’t need anything from him any more. She’d found her Arnav and they were going to get out of here at the first opportunity.

“Whom are you observing a fast for? Come, I’ll feed you.”

Arnav heard this and jumped back onto the chair so he could see what was going on. How dare he? How dare he feign concern for Khushi after kidnapping her and bringing her here in the first place. And how DARE he even think about coming close enough to Khushi to be able to feed her.

The kidnapper came close to Khushi, attempted to feed her. Khushi turned her face away and moved further away from him.

“You don’t want to eat? Fine. I’ll eat it, no need to let it go to waste.”

The kidnapper sat there, eating away. All Khushi wanted was for him to take the damn food and go away so she could get back to her Arnav. After finishing all his food, the kidnapper put his plate down and turned to Khushi once more.

“So tell me, why were you following me?”

Getting to her feet, Khushi moved away from him and went over to the others side of the room. She needed to leave.

“Where are you running to? There is no way to escape.”

The kidnapper placed his hand on Khushi’s shoulder.

“What’s the matter, are you still angry with me for hitting you?”

Arnav had already been seething with anger but this tipped him over the edge.

“Don’t you dare touch her!”

The kidnapper looked up slightly shocked. Arnav pulled the rope away and began pulling at the grill with all his might. Sure enough, it didn’t take him long to pull it away. He jumped over to Khushi’s side and ran towards the kidnapper before hitting him.

Hitting him over and over again, Arnav was ready to kill this guy. He’d touched Khushi, he’d hurt Khushi, he had held her captive. He wasn’t going to let him carry on breathing. Arnav hit the man over and over again, but of course the kidnapper hit back too. Grabbing hold of a metal rod, Arnav hit the kidnapper round the head. Not hard enough to kill him, but hard enough to knock him out for a good couple of hours. Whilst the men had been fighting, Khushi had been stood there, calling Arnav’s name. She wanted him to stop, she didn’t want him to get hurt.

Arnav dropped the rod and finally acknowledged Khushi calling him. He turned to her.

“Are you okay?”

Shaking her head, Khushi rushed over to Arnav and flew into his arms, knocking him back slightly. She wrapped her arms around his neck and held him close to herself. Arnav raised one hand and placed it on her back, before looping the other around her. Khushi’s hand moved to the back of his neck as she held him close to herself, breathing him in. He didn’t smell like his usual fresh self, but a scent that was distinctively Arnav was still there. She’d found him, she was holding him in her arms. Arnav pulled her closer to himself, he was never going to let her go. He almost lost her, he’d been such an idiot, he hadn’t believed her, had treated her like crap, but regardless of everything, she’d come looking for him. She’d stayed loyal to him, as she always had done.

Arnav broke the hug just a tiny bit and cupped Khushi’s face in his hands.

“I don’t deserve you. I treated you like shit. I didn’t listen to you, didn’t believe you, and yet you still risked everything to find me.”

Placing her finger on his lip, Khushi shook her head, signalling him to stop. She didn’t want to think about the past, now was the time to move on and start afresh. Their misunderstandings were gone, he loved her and she loved him. It was time to focus on the things that mattered.

“Arnav ji, let’s just move on. The past is the past. Now is the time to start again.”

“But Khushi, I need you to know I was an idiot. I knew in my heart you couldn’t have done that but I still… I’m so sorry.”

“Arnav ji. Please.”

He searched her face, his apology wasn’t doing anything to her, it’s as though she had already forgiven him, already moved on.

“I love you Khushi.”

Khushi’s eyes widened and tears ran down her face.

“I love you too Arnav ji.”

He gathered her back into his arms and held her tight against himself. This is how things should have been, always. Him and Khushi, Khushi and him. One.

Arnav hid his face in the crook of Khushi’s neck and placed small kisses on her soft skin. Khushi held the back on the neck, holding him close as he carried on kissing her neck. But they couldn’t be doing this here, not right now.

Pushing Arnav away, Khushi took his hand.

“We need to get out of here.”

Arnav nodded. Khushi was right. They needed to get out of here before the kidnapper came round or before someone came to check. He took the keys of the kidnappers pocket, along with his wallet and his phone and unlocked the door and left the building.

*****

The building that they were being held captive in, was somewhere in the middle of a forest. There were trees everywhere and neither Arnav nor Khushi could figure out which way they needed to go.

They ran. Going whichever way felt right. They ran for ages, hand in hand, looking for a safe place. There was no single on the phone so they couldn’t even call anyone.

Wandering around for hours, Arnav and Khushi were both exhausted. They were lost and they had no idea which way they needed to go, but they were certain that no one was following them. They carried on moving, no longer running. Darkness was falling around them and they needed somewhere safe to rest. It would be too difficult to try and leave the forest in the dark so it would be better for them to find some shelter and get some rest.

After walking for a little while longer, they found a little cabin. It looked abandoned, but it was the only sheltered place they had seen and it was completely dark around them so they had no other choice but to hope for the best and go into the cabin.

Hand in hand, they walked over to the cabin. Arnav pushed the door open and went in, Khushi following him.

It was more of a stable than a cabin. There was hay all around them, but it was cosy. The door had a lock, so Arnav latched the door while Khushi went to sit down on a barrel of hay. Arnav made sure the door was secured and then came and sat down beside her.

“Are you okay?”

Smiling up at him, Khushi nodded and then proceeded to rest her head on his arm. Arnav reached over and placed his hand on her other shoulder and smiled, but then realised that the seam on the shoulder of her dress had ripped.

“Arre, Khushi, your dress is ripped.”

Looking at the rip, Khushi tried to cover it with her dupatta.

“There’s a small box of clothes, see if there’s anything in there that you can wear and get changed if there is.”

Nodding, Khushi went over to the box and had a look. There were a few bit and pieces but nothing looked suitable, until she found a white sari. It wasn’t ideal, but it would be better than wearing a ripped dress.

“Arnav ji, I found something”

Arnav nodded and walked over to Khushi. He understood that she didn’t feel comfortable getting changed with him around.

“Khushi turn around and hand me your dupatta.”

“Why?”

“You’ll see.”

Listening to what he was saying, Khushi turned and removed her dupatta and handed it over to Arnav. He then draped it over some wire that was hanging across the length of the cabin. This formed a curtain.

“You can get changed now.”

Turning around, she saw what Arnav did and smiled at how much he respected her and understood what she needed. Khushi began to undress, and Arnav watched. He could see what she was doing through her shadow. There was an open window near where she was and the moonlight was emitting enough light to form a silhouette. He watched as she unzipped her dress and then let it fall down her body. He watched as she looked down and undid her shelwar. He watched as she tied the blouse up and then draped the sari over herself.

Arnav felt his temperature rise as he watched her do this and so removed his shirt. Seeing her like this, it ignited a new passion within him. One which had been there before, but now had intensified. Khushi pushed back the make shift curtain and stood there and Arnav made his way over to her slowly. He walked towards her and she moved back, kept moving back until her back hit the wall.

Arnav placed one hand on her waist and pulled her into himself. They’d waited long enough, their time was here, he wasn’t going to wait, tonight he was going to make Khushi his in the true sense. He ran his finger down her face and Khushi’s eyes fluttered shut. Arnav leaned in, closing the distance between them before placing a gentle kiss on her lips. His arm around her waist tightened, pulling Khushi closer to himself and intensified the kiss. Khushi’s lips parted and Arnav took this moment to let his tongue run between her lips. His arm moved from around her waist, and he let it run down the length of her colds exposed arm. A shiver ran up Khushi’s spine. Breaking the kiss, Arnav lifted Khushi off the for and her arms around his neck tightened.

q8MExaB

He carried her over to the hay and lay her down gently and lay on top of her, looking down at her. Slowly coming down over her, Arnav was ready to make Khushi his. Arnav lowered himself, Khushi’s eyes shut, anticipating what was to come.

Arnav came closer and Khushi could feel the intensity around her. She rolled away from Arnav but he grabbed hold of her shoulder.

“Khushi…”

Arnav’s hand moved down her exposed back, feeling her skin under his hand. His hand moved down to the little knot she’d tied at the back to hold her blouse together. With one hand, Arnav pulled at the bow, pulling it off. Khushi’s breathing got heavy and she rolled back into Arnav, she could feel her blouse beginning to sag. Arnav lay her back down and began removing her sari.

“Khushi, can…”

Nodding, Khushi pulled Arnav closer as he slowly began removing her clothes. This was it, it was happening, finally, after months of staying away from her, he was going to make her his. He was going to get intimate with his Khushi.

*****

Khushi’s sari was off, leaving her just in her panties and the scrappy material that was her make shift blouse. Arnav placed kiss down the length of her neck, his hands exploring her body in a way he’d never done before. Khushi had one hand in Arnav’s hair, pulling him ever closer, not wanting to let him go out of fear she’d lose him again. Another hand was balled at her side. She could feel her body humming, a pressure between her hips growing. Involuntary, Khushi raised her hips up to Arnav’s and she felt the bulge in his pants between her legs.

Pushing the blouse away, Arnav took in the sight before him. Khushi, his Khushi, laying before him in nothing but her lacy underwear. Arnav lowered his hands gingerly onto the sides of her breasts, feeling her. Khushi gasped at the feel of his hands on her.

“Can I take these clothes off you?”

Arnav voice was low and husky, asking her permission to take things further. Khushi knew where this was going. Khushi shook her head and sat up.

“I can stop…”

She shook her head once more and reached out for his vest and pulled it over his head. She’d seem him like this before, but something about the lighting and knowing that they were going to become one, made him look oh so much more delicious. Khushi moved into him and kissed his neck, while her hands explored his body. Arnav’s hands moved round Khushi’s back, the fumbled a little as he tried to unclasp her bra. The finally managed to get it off and Khushi felt her breath catch in her throat. Arnav shifted so he could lay Khushi down. She fell back, and he took her bra off, revealing her breasts to him. Arnav gasped and Khushi felt maybe he wasn’t impressed so tried to cover herself with her arms. Arnav stopped her.

“Let me look at you.”

“I’m not…”

“You’re perfect. Beautiful.”

Khushi lowered her arms, blushing as Arnav lowered himself so that he could take one of her hard little nubs between his lips. Khushi gasped, her back arched back and she laced her fingers back into his hair. Arnav licked at her nipple and his hand moved down between her legs. He let his hands rest above her panties and just stroked her. Khushi let out a little moan and shifted her body. She’d never felt anything like this before, Arnav was doing something to her, so alien but so good.

“Arnav ji…”

“Arnav.”

“Arnav j…”

“No call me Arnav, just Arnav.”

Arnav’s fingers slipped under her panties and he hooked a finger into her.

“Ah.”

“Say my name.”

“Ah..”

She wanted to say it, but every timed she tried, he started moving his finger in her, making her feel things.

“Stop.”

“Stop what Khushi.”

“Playing with me.”

“Say my name.”

“Ar… Arnavvv…”

Arnav smirked. His name sounded so good when she moaned it, he could only imagine how good it would sound when she screamed it out into this empty barn. Pulling his trousers and boxers away, Khushi took in the sight before her. He was so big! His length so long and standing there in front of her. Khushi pressed her legs together, trying to stop the sensation she was feeling. Arnav leaned down, and pressed a kiss on Khushi’s lips before proceeding to pull her panties away.

“Khushi if you want me to stop, just say it.”

“Don’t stop. Please, don’t ever stop.”

Khushi kicked her panties away once they were fair enough down her legs, and Arnav came onto her, holding her close as he pressed his lips onto hers once more. His fingers dipped into her once more, she was ready for him. Arnav shifted his weight onto his arms and positioned himself over Khushi, she wrapped one arm around his neck and held onto his muscular arm with the other.

“I love you Khushi.”

“I love you too Arnav ji.”

Arnav smiled and guided his length into her. Khushi’s grip on him tighter as she felt him filling her. It felt so strange, so alien, yet so good.

“Are you okay?”

Khushi nodded and Arnav held himself there for a second, letting her body adjust to the size of him. When he felt she was ready, he began moving, pulling back slightly, before pushing himself back in. Khushi sighed and closed her eyes as she wrapped a leg around his waist.

“Arnav…”

Her breathing was shallow and her grip on him tightened as Arnav moved a little faster, pushed a little deeper. He rested his face into her neck and kissed her there.

“Ah.”

Arnav picked up his pace, he wanted to take it slow, savour the moment, but at the same time, their situation wasn’t ideal and although they were safe, he didn’t want to think about what could happen if someone walked in on them. So as much as he hated it, he needed this moment to come to an end so they could rest up and then get going again.
He moved faster, rubbing her all the while thrusting in her body.

“AH.”

Khushi’s leg around Arnav’s waist tightened and she felt her body coil tightly. They carried on until Khushi could take no more and Arnav too was so close. He upped his pace, pushing them both over the edge. Khushi called his name out and it echoed around the empty barn and her leg went limp around his waist. Arnav held her close, and pressed a kiss onto her forehead as he carefully lay her down. He grabbed his shirt and covered her and Khushi cuddled up to Arnav.

“Are you okay?”

“Better than ever.”

“Rest now, we have to get going as soon as it’s light.”

“I love you Arnav.”

“I love you too.”

Sleep took over and Arnav and Khushi let themselves drift away into oblivion.

Their day had started with Arnav locked away and Khushi had been hopeful to find him. Hours later, here they were, together, free and more than hopeful. Because tomorrow was a new day, the first day of their forever. They would move on, move forward, together as one, but for now they slept, content, fulfilled, complete. Years from now, the memories of this ordeal may fade away, however this night, this very night, the night they got away and became one, this night would always stay with them. Forever and always.

Authors Note

So this is a part of my IPKKND remake series and this is one that I have wanted to write for so long but never got round to doing. The scenes from this day are some of my favourite, they way they find each other and the dialogue that is exchanged between them. Due to this, the beginning is pretty much the same as it was on the show. However, I and I’m sure many other people was very frustrated that Arnav and Khushi escaped only to get caught again. I really didn’t like that and due to that I felt like I needed to change it up. Also, I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who wanted Arnav and Khushi to consummate their marriage in that barn, so in my version of the story, I have made that happen.

Please do leave your comments and thoughts, as you know I love reading feedback. I have also found links to the scenes which inspired this one shot.

I would also like to take this moment to ask, does anyone know where I can watch all the episodes of IPKKND from the beginning? I am in England so I can not use hotstar, but if there is a way that I can, please do let me know, or if there are other websites which contain the episodes, please do let me know. I really want to watch the show again.

Thank you for your help and love and support and I will see you all again very soon with another update. (Which will actually be in a little bit because I have a Pardesi Pyaar update scheduled to be posted in a little while)

“So this means you guys are an item now?”

“I guess so La!”

“But is that really the best idea?”

“What do you mean?”

“I mean, the way he was with you before, do you really think you guys will be able to make it work out?”

“I don’t know, but I hope so.”

“Just be careful Khushi. He’s obviously confused and doesn’t know what he wants. Don’t let his indecisiveness hurt you.”

“I’ll try to La. I really will.”

Khushi was putting her some clothes in a small bag, awaiting Arnav’s arrival to pick her up and take her away for the weekend. She wasn’t sure what kind of items of clothing she should take with her.

“Khushi, don’t take anything that you won’t feel comfortable in. And don’t do anything you don’t feel comfortable doing.”

Khushi nodded and gave La a hug.

“You know we still haven’t really spoken about you and NK.”

“There’s nothing to say.”

“Listen, when I got home, you and NK were all pretzeled up on the sofa, NAKED.”

Lavanya blushed a deep shade of red.

“You know what happened, why are you asking?”

“Because I want the details.”

“I didn’t ask you for the details between you and Arnav.”

“Because nothing happened. When it does, I’ll be sure to tell you all the details.”

“Well me and NK have had feelings for a while but neither of us wanted to peruse it. And I guess we couldn’t hold back any more.”

“Aw, I’m so happy for you two! I’ve been waiting for this to happen for such a long time.”

*****

Khushi was in her room, waiting for Arnav to come and pick her up. She had her little handhold.

A little while later there was a knock at the door and Khushi rushed to open it. As the threw the door open, there stood before her was Arnav. He was wearing a dark grey suit with a crisp white shirt, and he looked as magnificent as ever.

“Hey.”

“Hi.”

“You ready to go?”

“Yeah.”

Khushi let Arnav in as she went over to get her bag. Arnav took it from her and held onto it while Khushi went to say bye to Lavanya.

“La, I’m going.”

“Alright, have fun! But be sure to call me in the evening and make sure you use protection.”

“SHH he’ll hear you.”

“Good, because he needs to know too to use protection.”

“We might not even do it.”

“Either way, make sure you remember to use it if you do.”

Khushi laughed and shook her head as she gave Lavanya a big hug.
She said goodbye and then went back out to find Arnav tapping away on his phone.

“Ready?”

“Yeah.”

Arnav picked Khushi’s bag up and she led them out of the apartment and down the hall.
Then Arnav took over and led Khushi to his car. He put the bag into the boot and then climbed into the front.

Within moments, they were off. The roads were dark and the night was quite cold, and Khushi quickly began to regret her choice of clothing. She’s wanted to look seductive for him, make him want her, and so had opted from a knee length, figure hugging red dress. She wasn’t entirely comfortable in it and felt extremely exposed, but he was a man, and she hoped that he would appreciate the effort. However, up until now, he hadn’t commented on her outfit or how she looked.

Khushi attempted to pull her dress down a bit so that she could cover her knees, but Arnav reached out and put his hand on top of hers. He turned to face her, smiled and then turned back. Khushi turned away from him and couldn’t help but smile herself, he totally had noticed her outfit choice.

“How long until we get to wherever is it you’re taking me?”

“It’s going to be a while still.”

“Ohh okay.”

They carried on driving in near silence, both thinking about what the rest of the night was going to hold for them. Khushi wondered if they were actually going to do it tonight, and if they did, how was it going to feel? Was it going to hurt? Would he want to go fast or would he go slow for her? Would they cuddle after or would he be the type of person who would want his own space after.

Khushi’s mind conjured up images of Arnav pressing his body into hers as he moved on top of her, whispering that he loved her with each thrust. He could almost feel his fingers brushing over her curves, and the thought of it caused a heat to form between her legs. Khushi pressed her thighs together, willing for the feeling to go away.

Arnav too couldn’t help but imagine how the night would play out. He thought of all the things he could do to her, of all the ways he could do it. Would his methods please her? Would they make her call his name out in ecstasy as she came over and over again? Would she be willing to go down on him? The thought of her hot mouth around him turned him on to the point where Arnav could feel his length harden. Images of her on her knees before him, her head bopping back and forth as he gripped her hair tightly, willing her to take more and more of his length.

Arnav’s hand on Khushi’s thigh tightened as he felt his dick constricting in his pants. He couldn’t concentrate on the road, he needed to pull over.
The road was dark and there were trees all down the sides. There weren’t any cars around them for miles. Arnav found the first convenient spot and pulled over and turned the engine and the lights off of the big car.

Khushi looked at him and then around them. Why were they stopping. Arnav pushed his seat back and unbuckled both his and Khushi’s seat belts before pulling her into his lap.

“Arnav!”

He took her hand and pressed it over his trousers and Khushi gasped at how hard he was.

“I couldn’t stop thinking about you and this weekend.”

Khushi blushed a deep shade of red, before allowing herself to move in and place her lips on his. Arnav kissed her back, hard and wanting more. He placed his hands on her butt and pulled her further into himself so she was fulling sitting on top of his hard member. His hands moved off her ass and moved onto her thighs on either of of him, which were now exposed because her dress had ridden up and bunched around her waist.

Khushi fisted her hands into his hair, slanting her mouth over his as his tongue ploughed into her mouth. A deep moan left Khushi’s throat as he rubbed his hardness against her. One of his hands continued to rub the soft skin of her thighs, all the while moving closer and closer to her bikini line. His other hand made its way round her back and made light work of the zip. Khushi broke the kiss, only to push the dress off her shoulders and let it bunch up around her waist. Arnav’s eyes fluttered open. She hadn’t worn a bra and her breasts were out in the open for him. Her nipples were evidently hardening and he pinched one of the slightly. His hands covered her breasts as he moved back into kiss her neck. Khushi threw her head back and laced her fingers into his hair once more, pulling him closer to her. His stubble pricked the soft skin of her back, but somehow that just turned her on even more. She pushed his suit jacket over his shoulder and Arnav shrugged out of it and threw it onto the seat beside them.

She moved ever so slightly, rubbing herself against his hardness. The sensation between her legs was intensifying and then made her move faster. What would it be like to do this when they weren’t wearing clothes. How would it feel to rub against him like this without panties on and with his dick out?

Arnav pulled away from Khushi slightly.

“Stop that.”

“Stop what.”

“You know what.”

Khushi shuffled a tiny bit more, just to tease him. Arnav placed his hands on either side of her waist and held her there tightly. He ground her hips into his groin and Khushi could feel his hardness so much more.

“I won’t be able to drive like this.”

“What do we do?”

Arnav thought for a second before a smirk hit his face. He pushed Khushi off of him so she was back in her seat before moving to the backseat of the car. He reached out for Khushi and pulled her to the back too.

“What if someone sees us?”

“Very few cars pass this stretch of road at this time of night.”

Khushi nodded and draped herself on Arnav’s lap again before starting to unbutton his shirt. She kissed him again all the while taking the buttons of his shirt off and then slipping it off his shoulders. Her hand travelled down his torso. His body was so hard, so unlike hers. How would it feel to have this rock hard body on top of hers?

Khushi’s hand travelled further down and rested on top of his belt buckle. She broke the kiss and looked into his eyes, asking if she could do it. She saw his Adam’s Apple bob slightly before he nodded. He was feeling nervous, he didn’t want to lose his control, not like this, not now. Not before anything was discussed. Khushi’s hand moved to his zipper and she pulled it away slightly. Arnav stopped her and pinned her down against the seats. Her dress was still hanging on on her hips. Arnav pulled it off and held her down.

Her neck, he loved her long neck, her placed kissed all along her neck and carried on down her body. Even though his car was big, he was starting to feel a bit stiff, how he would enjoy kissing and licking every inch of her body when he got to his place. He needed to stop himself, this couldn’t happen like this, but there was no way to put the breaks on what was happening.

Arnav pulled Khushi’s panties away and kissed her down there once. Khushi’s legs wrapped around his neck. Arnav broke away and aligned himself so that he could kiss her lips once more. His hand travelled down her body and he hooked a finger into her, making her gasp. He pushed the finger in and pumped slightly, building the pressure that was forming between her hips anyway. Khushi rocked her body with to his finger, if his finger could make her feel so good, how would good would his hardness make her feel?

They carried this one for a while. Kissing and touching each other, exploring the other ones body without taking the act all the way home. Khushi broke their kiss after a while and pushed away from him slightly.

“We should get going.”

“I can’t…”

“Why not?”

Arnav pointed down to his hardness, still staining against his pants.

“Is there anything I can do?”

“Khushi…”

“Please, let me help you.”

Arnav nodded and then pulled his trousers away from his legs. He was left in his boxers and Khushi couldn’t help but admire the bulge in his boxers, damn he was huge.

Arnav proceeded to pull his boxers away and Khushi’s eyes widened as more and more of his length was revealed. The moment he pushed his boxers away, Khushi was on him, on his lap, kissing him intensely, all the while rubbing her butt against his now exposed dick.

It did feel good, she knew her head back and moaned. Arnav pressed his face back into her neck, pulling her hair to make her head tilt back to reach more of her neck. He needed to get this wrapped up, but this kind of making out was something which he wasn’t used to, but was definitely enjoying more than anything else.

“Khushi, we have to stop.”

“I don’t want to.”

“We can’t carry on here.”

“But…”

“When we get home, we can do it all night.”

Khushi pulled away and nodded. She had an idea that they were going to make love this weekend, but she hadn’t realised it would be the first and only thing on his agenda.
She looked down at his crotch and blushed.

“I thought you said you couldn’t drive like that.”

“I can’t.”

Arnav placed his hand around his length and started rubbing himself, slowly first and then far more aggressively. His eyes were clamped shut as he did it and Khushi watched in awe. Arnav groaned like a pained animal with every rub. Should she do something to help him?

Khushi placed her hand over Arnav’s and moved his hand away. Arnav’s eyes opened and shook his head.

“Khushi, no…”

“Please.”

Her eyes pleaded with his. He knew he wanted this eventually, but he wasn’t sure if right now really was the right moment for then.
Khushi slide off the seat and fell onto her knees in front of Arnav. She pushed his legs apart and moved up before taking his thick length into her hands.

“Babe…”

Her hands worked along his length, rubbing him slowly at first and then moving faster, as he had done. Arnav’s head fall back in pleasure and his eyes shut. She continued rubbing him and then she stopped. Arnav slowly began to open his eyes, when he realised she was taking his length into her mouth.

“Khushi…”

She pushed him back lightly and held onto the base of his cock while taking as much of it into her mouth as she could. This was all new for her and she wasn’t sure what to do next. Arnav’s hands gripped her hair tightly and he pulled her hair ever so slightly so that she moved back, letting some of his length leave her mouth. He pushed her back in again so she took more in again and from this Khushi worked out a momentum. She moved slowly at first and then got faster. Arnav’s hand tightened in her hair as he carried on guiding her.

It wasn’t long before Khushi could taste the slightly salty liquid leave his length. She took his length out of her mouth and rubbed him, fast and hard and in no time, he came. Arnav groaned as he ejaculated and his eyes slowly opened to look at Khushi. Once his moment was over and he had recovered from the intense climax he had just faced, he pulled Khushi up off of her knees and pulled her into him. He kissed her, hard. He may have come, but he was still hungry for her and he made sure that he conveyed that in his kiss.

He broke the kiss and brushed his hand along the side of her face.

“That was… that was… indescribable!”

“I’m sorry if it wasn’t…”

“Sh no, don’t apologise. That was amazing Khushi, I’ve never come so hard from a blowjob. That was… How did you know how to…”

And that’s when it hit him. Maybe she had been with someone else before, maybe that’s why she knew what to do and how to make him feel so good. His jaw clenched.

“Arnav…”

“Let’s just get going now.”

Khushi looked at Arnav, utterly confused. What on earth just happened? Had she not actually have done as well as he was saying? Was he not impressed with her performance of her oral skills? Why was he icing her out after she had performed such an intimate act on him for the first time.

Arnav began to pull his clothes back on and Khushi did the same. Once they were both dressed, Arnav moved back to the drivers seat and he waited for Khushi to come back to the front too. He watched her in the rear mirror, as she slowly pulled her dress back on. He watched as her beautiful breasts slowly got covered up again, and he was certain he was goon to get another piece of that again later. Once dressed Khushi moved back to her seat and soon they were off.

“Arnav… Did I do something wrong?”

“No.”

“Then what happened back there.”

He kept his eyes fixed on the road ahead. He sighed and then realised he may as well voice his thoughts before things got going any further.

“What you did was amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever had such an intense release before. And that was because of what you did to me. But I couldn’t help but think… Have you done that before? Is that why you knew how to…”

Khushi gasped as she realised what he was trying to say.

“No… No I’ve never…”

“You’ve never…”

“No I haven’t done that before.”

“Then how?”

“I wasn’t sure at first what to do, but then you kind of helped me and I… Well I’m a fast learner.”

Arnav smirked and couldn’t help but feel slightly relieved. It made him feel good, knowing that she hadn’t had her mouth on another man like that before. It made him feel special, powerful, important. Not matter how their future played out now, he would always be the man she gave her first blowjob to.

Khushi was working her last shift at the coffee shop, saying goodbye to all the customers as she prepared their coffees for the last time.

“What am I going to do next year? Who’s going to make my Lattes just right for me.”

Khushi laughed as a girl who was in her earlier stages of college expressed her concerns about her coffee.

“I’m sure that whoever will take my place will be able to make your latte just the way you like it.”

“I hope so, good luck Khushi, it’s been great seeing you around and just having casual chats with you over coffee.”

“Thank you and good luck to you too.”

The girl left with her drink and Khushi couldn’t help that she had tears gathering in her eyes.

Somehow, working at the coffee shop had become more than just a job for her. She enjoyed working here and she enjoyed the people that she interacted with on a regular basis.

Khushi’s final shift was nearing its end, and after a number of emotional final conversations, Khushi realised that she hadn’t seen Arnav. She’d forgotten all about him and that she was meant to be speaking to him if he came in. Turning around, Khushi looked at the clock. 20 minutes and then she would be done.

Time ticked on, and Khushi was feeling hopeful that Arnav wasn’t going to come in, or if he did, she’d already be gone. But alas, god had other plans for her. The chime above the door rang and Khushi looked up to see Arnav walking in and towards her.

“Hey Khushi! I finally found you?”

“You’ve been looking for me?”

“Yeah…” Running his hand through his hair, Arnav looked around slightly awkwardly. “Yeah I’ve been coming in twice a day since the day we met, but you never seem to be here.”

“Wait… You’ve been looking for me?”

“You’re one of the only people I really felt like I connected with here and I wanted to get to know you.”

Alarms began to ring in Khushi’s head. He thought they had a connection? He’d been looking for her? WHAT?

“Did you ask anyone for me?”

“No… I didn’t and I guess that was a stupid thing to do, I shouldn’t asked when you’d be in. I didn’t think…”

“We graduate tomorrow… I feel like we’re a bit late.”

“About that… I was wondering if…” Again Arnav looked around awkwardly, trying to come up with the best way to say what he wanted to say. “I was wondering if you’d like to be my date for the after party.”

“Your date?”

“Well not date date, but yes date. I’d really like to spend some time with you and get to know you.”

“I don’t know… I wasn’t really planning on going to the after party.”

“You have to go! You have to celebrate your achievement!”

“I don’t know…”

“Please, for me. I’d really like to spend some time with you.”

His eyes were wide, pleading her to agree. Khushi knew she shouldn’t, she didn’t want to develop feelings for him. But at the same time, would one night really do any harm?

“Okay, yeah! Let’s do it.”

Grinning for ear to ear, Arnav pulled his phone out of his pocket and handed it to Khushi.

“Put your number into my phone, and so after the graduation ceremony if I don’t see you I can call you and we can meet up and head to the party together.”

Khushi took the phone and put her number in. His phone was the iPhone 7 plus in matte black. This alone reminded Khushi why she was hiding from him. His world was completely different to hers. He had the latest iPhone and she was using one of the oldest iPhones, which she hadn’t even brought herself. Katie had given Khushi one of her old phones because she’d had enough of not being able to WhatsApp her.

She handed the phone back to Arnav and he called her number straight away. The phone rang in Khushi’s pocket, but she was reluctant for him to see that she was still only using the iPhone 5.
The phone stopped ringing.

“You should save my number.”

“Yeah I will do.”

“So er, I should get going and I’ll see you at graduation?”

“Yeah, I guess so.”

Arnav smiled and took his leave. As he reached the door, he turned around, waves and gave Khushi a lopsided smile, and then left.

Pulling her phone out of her pocket, Khushi looked at his number and couldn’t help but smile. She saved his number and held her phone close to her heart.

*****

“Did you talk to him? Did he show up?”

“Let me get in through the door.”

Katie rolled her eyes and backed up slightly to let Khushi in through the door. The moment Khushi was inside, she took her by the arm, dragged her over to the sofa and sat her down.

“Tell me, RIGHT NOW.”

Khushi began to explain to Katie how things had played out and what was said between them. Katie listened, her eyes wide, trying to contain her excitement.
When Khushi finished telling her what happened, Katie squealed with joy.

“What are you so excited about?”

“You’re going to the party with Arnav!”

“Yeah I know but…”

“No buts, he’s so interested in you!”

“We don’t know that.”

“Khushi, come on, if he wanted interested why would he have gone looking for you, every day, twice a day.”

“Okay, yeah I guess…”

“And I know you’re worried that you and him are from completely different worlds, but honestly, I don’t think it’s going to matter to him, and if it does, then he’s a jerk and I give you permission to just leave him somewhere and run away.”

Khushi nodded. She knew Katie had a point and that she was making sense. Besides, Arnav may be from a wealthy family, but he didn’t seem like a snob, he didn’t seem like the type of person that would push someone away just because they weren’t as rich as him.

“I don’t know what I’m going to wear to the party.”

“You know I have the perfect dress for every occasion, don’t worry, I’ll sort you out.”

“Katie… I’ve been attracted to him since that first day, what if things seem like they’re going somewhere between us and then it just fails. I don’t want to get hurt.”

“Just be careful and keep a distance. If things don’t look like they’re going the right way, then you just get out of that situation as fast as you can and we don’t look back.”

Khushi nodded once more, she could do this and Katie was behind her every step of the way. She’d been curious about Arnav right from the beginning and it seemed that he’d felt the same, so why not just act on it? See where things go? After all, what could possibly go wrong?

Author’s note

I would just like to make it clear, before anyone misunderstands what I wrote, which phone you use doesn’t matter in any way. Personally I do not believe it matters which phone you have, those were Khushi’s views, not mine. I personally am still using an IPhone 5s.

Also, last week I was gracious as to how my blog was growing and how my views were going up really fast, however this week my views have absolutely crashed. They haven’t been this low in months? So I don’t really understand what’s going on.

Anyways, hope you guys enjoyed this and I will be back tomorrow with and update to one of my main stories.

Pardesi Pyaar ~ Part 3

IMG_0725

Some time had passed since Arnav and Khushi had met that day in the coffee shop and now graduation was only a matter of days away. Khushi had pushed any thoughts of Arnav away and tried to focus on her final semester. She needed to make sure that she was performing her absolute best so that she could graduate with honours.

Arnav too spent his time studying so that he could graduate. But unlike Khushi, Arnav had taken this time to also do a lot of socialising. He’d met a lot of people, and there were plenty of girls fawning after him, craving his attention. Arnav noticed these individuals but at the same time, he let them slide. None of them did anything for him, no one really stood out, no one except Khushi from the coffee shop. However, after that first day, he didn’t come across her again.

*****

“Karl, quit talking so much and get here and help me move this.”

“Bro, were graduating soon, this is the time to pull all the girls that we can.”

Arnav laughed but rolled his eyes. Karl, someone he met in his lectures. Arnav wasn’t too sure why he was friends with Karl, but all he knew was that he wouldn’t know where he’d be now if he hadn’t made friends with Karl. Arnav shook his head and went back to moving the huge stack of books that were on his way and pushed them aside and put his laptop down.

Karl looked up from his phone all of a sudden and gasped.

“Dude! It’s graduation is less than a week.”

“I know! That’s what I’ve been trying to tell you! That’s why I needed you to move all this stuff. So I could go through my paper one last time and get it submitted.”

“Haven’t you already had that paper submitted and marked?”

“Yeah I have, but they want a hard copy.”

“Oh.”

Karl went back to his phone. Moment later he looked up again.

“You know that girl Katie?”

“The one you’ve been trying to get at since I’ve met you?”

“Yeah her. Do you think I’ll ever find her and speak to her.”

“Who knows.”

“Arnav man, she’s so hot.”

“Let’s hope you find her at the graduation party.”

“Do you think she’s the one night stand type?”

“I honestly can’t answer that. I don’t even know what the girl looks like.”

Karl sighed.

“Hey, there’s something I wanted to ask you.”

“What’s up bro?”

“Do you know that girl that works at the coffee shop?”

“Which one?”

“The Indian one, Khushi.”

“She makes a mean Americano?”

“Anything else? Other than that?”

“Nah, I’ve never seen her around much. Although, coming to think about it, I think she’s friends with Katie.”

“You’re Katie?”

“Yeah. But why all the questions about coffee Khushi? You into her?”

“Yeah I guess you could say I am. I met her once but she’s always been on my mind.”

“Why didn’t you just go back to the coffee shop again then?”

“I have. Twice a day, every day since I’ve arrived. But I never see her. Either she’s not been working there or the universe is keeping me away from her.”

“Well let’s hope she goes to the graduation party as well.”

“I hope so.”

Karl went back to his phone. Arnav was meant to go back to work but he couldn’t help but wonder about Khushi. Why hadn’t he seen her around? He knew that he wanted to get to know her, there was something about her that drew her to him and he knew that he needed to act on it before they graduated otherwise he may never find her again.

*****

“Katie! I’m home.”

“I’ve been waiting ages for you! What took you so long?”

“A customer dropped a whole lot of coffee just as I was getting ready to leave, so I needed to clean it up before I left.”

“Can you believe tomorrow’s your last day at the coffee shop?”

“I really can’t believe it! I’ve actually really enjoyed working there.”

“Did Arnav go in today?”

“Twice.”

Khushi rolled her eyes and Katie laughed.

“Did you hide again.”

“Of course I did.”

“Khushi, there really isn’t a need to hide from him every time he goes in.”

“I’m sure he wouldn’t have even realised.”

“He may not have done, but there was still no need to hide.”

Ever since the day Khushi had heard Arnav talking on the phone, she had taken it upon herself to stay completely out of Arnav’s way. She didn’t want to get in his way when he obviously didn’t think much of her. And due to this, every time he came into the coffee shop, Khushi made sure that she was well and truly hidden.

To some this may have seem irrational, but Khushi didn’t feel like she could face him after what she heard him say. And any way, if he wanted anything to do with her, surely he could’ve asked after her at the shop, but he didn’t, so he obviously wasn’t curious about her.

“Khushi, I know what we said about you and Arnav being too different and that you didn’t want to think about it, but I know you’ve been thinking about him since you’ve met him, please talk to him once.”

“What’s the point? And we’re graduating soon.”

“I know but I have a feeling that you should talk to him.”

“You have a feeling?”

“Yeah, I have a feeling that you should take to him because I think it’s the right thing to do.”

“Again what’s the point. Say it goes miraculously well, nothing can ever happen between us. Plus, were graduating so it won’t even lead to anything more.”

“I know and I get all of that but please, when he goes to the coffee shop tomorrow, please don’t hide from him, please just talk to him.”

“I don’t know…”

“Please Khushi. For me.”

Khushi sighed and looked at her friend. Katie was practically on her knees, begging Khushi to listen to her.

“Okay, fine. I’ll speak to him, but only if he comes in and makes an effort to speak to me. If he doesn’t then, it not going to go looking for him.”

“Okay fine! Deal!”

Katie rushed forward and squeezed Khushi out of joy and Khushi batted her friend away.

“It means this much to you that I should talk to him?”

“It really does mean this much to me.”

“Thank you Kay, for always supporting me.”

“Always and forever, I promise.”

“Can I get a black coffee please.”

Khushi nodded and went straight to work, all the while thinking about the hot guy stood behind her waiting for his coffee.

Where did he come from and why hadn’t she seen him before

Suddenly, Khushi remembered about what Katie had been telling her earlier about the hot Indian. Was this the hot Indian that all the girls were talking about? Because if this was the guy that they were all talking about, then they definitely had got one thing right, he definitely was hot. Khushi finished with the coffee and handed it to Arnav who was sat at the bar area near the counter. She decided that if she was going to talk to him, now was the best time.

“Erm, hi. I’m Khushi by the way.”

“I’m Arnav.”

“Are you new around here?”

“Yeah I am. How did you know?”

“Well there’s not a lot of Indians around here, so I already know all those who are from around here. You are Indian right?”

Arnav chuckled slightly and took a sip of his coffee.

“Yeah, I’m Indian. My dad’s has moved down here for some work and decided that he wanted to bring me along. He usually doesn’t but something inside him told him that he should bring me too.”

“Are you enrolled at Anchorlite?”

“Yeah, I’m doing post grad Business, you?”

“Post grad literature here.”

“That’s sweet.”

There was a slight pause and Arnav took that moment to drink some more of his coffee.

“So Khushi, what’s the party scene around here?”

“There’s a couple of bars and night clubs in town. But as exams are so close, no one from the college has had much time to party.”

“Oh yeah that’s true, last semester and all. Are you graduating this yeah?”

“I hope so, you?”

“I should be, but who knows, anythings possible when you’re me.”

Khushi didn’t know if he was joking or not, but smiled politely any way. Arnav took a last sip of his coffee and then put his mug down.

“Well I should be off, I need to get some work done if I want to graduate this year. How much for the coffee.”

“Oh, don’t worry about it, it’s on me. Consider it a welcome gift.”

Arnav laughed once more and put his wallet away.

“Thanks. Well it was great meeting you, maybe I’ll see you around campus sometime.”

“Maybe.”

Arnav nodded slightly and then left. The moment he was out the door, Khushi exhaled. She felt as though she had been holding her breath the whole time.

*****

“Katie Katie Katie Katie Katie! Guess what!”

“What what what what what what?!”

“I met the hot Indian!”

“HOW?! Where? Tell me all the details now.”

“He’s gorgeous! And he’s really nice and easy going.”

Khushi told Katie everything that she and Arnav had talked about. Katie listened as Khushi gushed over Arnav.

“And he seems so sweet.”

“You seem really taken by him.”

“What? No. I’m just saying…”

“I know what you’re just saying and I can tell your super attracted to him!”

“Okay, maybe a bit. But it’s no big deal.”

“If you like him, you should talk to him some more, see where things go.”

“I’ve just met him Kay.”

“Exactly! That’s why you should go out of your way to talk to him!”

“He’s a business post grad any way, we won’t even see him around much.”

“Stop making excuses. You’re going to find him and you are going to talk to him!”

Khushi laughed and brushed Katie off. There was no way she was going to go hunting for Arnav.

*****

The next day, Khushi was making her way down to her lecture when she saw Arnav walking along. She stopped for a moment, not sure what she should do, but then decided that maybe Katie was right and maybe she should go and just talk to him some more.

Slowly, she started making her way towards him. When she was relatively close, she realised that he was on the phone. She stopped for a moment but then decided to carry on walking towards him any way. The closer she got, the more of his conversation that she could hear.

“Well I haven’t been around long enough yet, but so far I haven’t really come across any interesting people…”

Khushi heard this and stopped dead in her tracks. He just told someone on the phone that he hadn’t met anyone interesting yet. That means that he didn’t find her interesting and he wasn’t interested in her. Khushi looked away and walked away. There was no point approaching someone who she hadn’t made an impact on. She carried on walking, and out of earshot of him conversation.

“…but I went to the coffee shop yesterday and there was this girl. An Indian girl and she was… Yeah, she was interesting. I wonder when I’ll see her around again.”

*****

All through her lecture, Khushi was distracted. He didn’t think she was interesting. She felt really disheartened. She’d really thought that she had made a good impression on him, but evidently she hadn’t.

Khushi’s  bad mood lingered throughout the day. When she returned to hers and Katie’s apartment later that evening, Khushi was not impressed to find that Katie had left a mess everywhere.

“Okay seriously, can you at least try to tidy up after yourself sometimes.”

“I promise I’ll do it, but come here first and look what I found.”

Khushi went over to Katie and leaned over her laptop to see what she was seeing. It was a picture of Arnav and an old man that looked a lot like Arnav.

“I don’t want to talk about…”

“He’s a Singh Raizada! Khushi! He’s a Singh Raizada.”

“So?”

“So? You don’t know what that means?”

“Am I meant to?”

“Khushi! How do you not know?”

Katie raised her eyebrow but when she realised Khushi wasn’t going to get it, she placed her face in a hand and sighed.

“I really do doubt how Indian you really are sometimes. But any way, he’s the son of Ajay Singh Raizada.”

“Okay… So?”

“Ajay Singh Raizada. THE Ajay Singh Raizada? Textiles king of the world? Come on Khushi.”

Suddenly the name rang a bell and she realised why Katie was freaking out.

“He’s… He’s the son of a… A billionaire?”

“YES! A billionaire, making him a billionaire too! Khushi, are you taking this in? Now you definitely have to talk to him.”

“No. No, if anything this shows how I definitely CAN’T talk to him.”

“But why not?”

“Because we come from two completely different worlds! I don’t belong in the same world he does and the moment he realises that, even if we have some kind of connection, he’ll drop me like a hot potato.”

“But…”

“No buts Katie. We end this topic here. Me and Arnav, are too different. I don’t deserve someone like him, I don’t belong with someone like him, and it’s a good thing we found out now before things escalated. I don’t deserve someone like him…”

Khushi had been back in India a week and everything was starting to fall into place. She had been to visit the potential properties that Arnav had found for her, but none of them were just right. If the apartment was fine, then it was too far from the office and if it was close to the office then the apartment wasn’t the right size for her.

After much deliberation and insistence from Arnav, she had agreed to his offer of staying at his apartment. Arnav had said she could stay their indefinitely, however, Khushi made sure that he knew that this was a temporary solution until she found the perfect place and that she would be paying his rent.

Despite Arnav making it clear that that was completely unnecessary, Khushi still felt that she needed to pay rent. It was decided she would move out of Payal’s family home when she came back from London after the conference.

*****

Saturday night rolled around and Khushi and Payal were getting ready for the merger party of AR and Khushiyan. Khushi had selected saris for her and Payal to wear. They were exclusive Khushiyan designs saris which were to be launched later in the year, just before Diwali.

“I can’t believe I’m wearing a designer sari! One that hasn’t even been released yet.”

“Get used to it Payal! From here onwards, you’ll only ever wear exclusive designs.”

“Khushi, really, I’m so grateful.”

“I know you are jiji. But honestly, if I don’t share my designs with you and have you model them, who else is going to?”

Payal hugged Khushi and held onto her.

“I’ve really missed having you around.”

“I’ve really missed being around.”

The girls were brought out of their moment by the doorbell ringing.

“It’s definitely Arnav, Akash is never early.”

Khushi laughed and left the room to see if it was Arnav or not. Payal was right, it was Arnav. He was wearing a black suit with a crisp white shirt and a crimson tie.

“Hey.”

“Hi.”

“You look beautiful.”

“Thank you, you don’t look too bad yourself.”

Arnav smirked and he took Khushi in. She was wearing a deep crimson sari (hence why he was wearing a crimson tie). The sari itself was relatively plain, but the blouse was something else altogether. It was heavily embroidered in silver with long sleeves. The sari hung onto every curve perfectly and enhanced Khushi’s already perfect body.

“Should we get going?”

Khushi nodded and grabbed her clutch bag and called out to everyone in the house that she was leaving.

*****

“So the guests aren’t meant to arrive until 9. The caters are already there, I checked before I came to collect you. They should have everything set by now.”

“They have got the little appetisers that I asked for right?”

“Yeah they’ve got those. The hotel staff said they would have them warmed up by the time the first guests start arriving.”

“And when are we speaking, at half 9?”

“Yes, we will do our opening speeches at half 9, you first and then me and then together. After that we will let everyone know that dinner will be served.”

“After dinner it will be an open bar and people will start making their way into the dance hall.”

“Yes exactly. Although I doubt many people will stay after dinner.”

Arnav and Khushi made sure that they knew what the plan for the evening was. They arrived at the hotel and Arnav helped Khushi out of the car.

They made their way over to the hotel door and the doorman held it open for them.

Khushi looked around the hotel lobby and smiled. It was all glass and crystal, just as how she’d wanted it to be. Arnav placed his hand on the small of her back and led her over to the banquet hall.

The tables had been moved and arranged so that they were more towards the back of the hall and a big platform had been set up at the front.

The servers were standing by the sides, dishes and dishes of food ready on the side, waiting the arrival of the guests.

Khushi went over to the food just to check that everything was alright.

“You really got everything perfectly done didn’t you Arnav?”

“You wanted perfection and I made sure I got the best in the city to get it done for you.”

“I really appreciate this.”

Khushi threw her arms around Arnav and hugged him to say thanks. He wrapped his arms around her and pressed his face into her shoulder, taking in her scent.

What was meant to be a friendly hug somehow managed to intensify by a million when Khushi wrapped her arms tightly around Arnav neck and pressed her own face into his chest.

Arnav’s arms dropped round to Khushi’s waist and he pulled her into himself, the lower half of their bodies touching.

Khushi pulled away ever so slightly, her hands dropping to his chest as she looked up into his dark caramel coloured eyes. Arnav looked into Khushi’s eyes, his hands cupped her face.

“Ahem…”

Arnav and Khushi jumped apart and Arnav found Aman standing by them, eyes averted.

“Er, Aman… Did you need something.”

“The tech guys just wanted to make sure that the mic was working.”

“Right, yeah, okay, I’m coming.”

Arnav turned to look at Khushi who was running her fingers through her hair and sighed. The occurrence of something like this just showed how much they wanted each other. An innocent hug shouldn’t have got so intense, it shouldn’t have made him want to kiss the daylights out of her like that.

Arnav turned away and made his way to the sound deck and Khushi was left watching him go. What the hell was going on. Khushi made a mental not to herself that she needed to stay away from Arnav. What they wanted, what could have happened, CAN’T happen.

*****

The guests began to file in and Arnav and Khushi stood together in the lobby greeting people. A lot of these people Khushi hadn’t had the chance to meet yet, so Arnav was introducing them all to her.

When everyone had arrived, there was a flood of people, talking to each other about the business venture that was beginning. When the time arrived, Arnav took to the stage.

“Welcome ladies and gentlemen, thank you all so much for being here tonight to celebrate the merger of my business with that of Miss Khushi Kumari Gupta. Before I say any more, please welcome Miss Gupta who has prepared a few words.”

There was polite applause as Khushi went to the stage to take the mic from Arnav who then stepped aside.

“Firstly I would like to reiterate what Arnav just said and I would like to thank everyone for being here tonight. It means a lot to me and I’m sure it means equally as much to Arnav.

I’m not the best at making speeches but I guess I would like to start by saying that my business, is everything to me. My business is my baby. All my love and effort has been poured into the business and I was very hesitate in joining with another business, but then I realised, that this merge would be the best thing that could happen to my company. AR Designs has a lot of global recognition in its own accord but now, by linking our names together and really taking our companies where they weren’t before, we’re breaking a lot more barriers.

I would also like to take this moment to thank Arnav, for being supportive and for really helping me out in terms of getting things going. Thank you Arnav, one couldn’t wish for a better business partner.”

Khushi turned and nodded to Arnav who started clapping and then the rest of the guests too started clapping. Arnav walked over to the stage and Khushi handed the mic over to him.

“Thank you Khushi and this merge means a lot to me too. My business is very close to my heart as well, and everyone here knows how much time and effort I have put into my business to get it where it is. I have missed birthdays and parties, I even missed my sisters engagement for my business, that’s how much AR Designs means to me. The merge with Khushiyan is integral if I want to make my brand well established worldwide.

This is the start of something new and I cannot wait to see where this journey takes me and Khushi and our businesses.”

Arnav gestured to Khushi who came back and stood beside Arnav.

“This is the start of a new chapter, and it means the world to me and Khushi that you all have come here today to celebrate with us.
I would like to ask you all to raise a glass to new beginning.”

“To new beginnings!”

“Could I get a latte please?”

“Yeah sure, do you have a loyalty card.”

The lady handed over her loyalty card and Khushi stamped it before she went off to make the woman’s latte. Khushi flew around behind the bar as she prepared the coffee and seconds later it was ready.

“Here you go ma’am.”

“Thank you Khushi!”

The woman handed the money over and slipped in an extra 5.

“Keep the change. Tip for my favourite barista in all of Durban.”

Khushi thanked the lady and then took her next order.

Khushi Kumari Gupta, an orphan, is an Indian girl, living out her dream in Durban, South Africa. She came to Durban to complete her masters degree in literature at the one and only Anchorlite College.

After completing her degree in India, she decided that there was so much of the world that she hadn’t seen. So for a year she went travelling. Khushi didn’t have the most money, but she had always been a hard worker, juggling multiple jobs between studying. She travelled to England, to America, to Canada and finally came to South Africa. She had only come with the intention to stay here for a month, but Khushi had fallen in love with the people and the culture of Durban, that she decided that she wanted to stay here and complete her masters. So here she was. She picked up all her things and she moved to South Africa to live out her dream and start a new life for herself.

*****

“Arnav, beta are you ready for your first day.”

“Papa! I’m not a child.”

“You will always be a child to me, no matter how old you get. Are you ready for your first day?”

“Ji papa. I am ready for the first day of my last semester. I can’t believe I’m finishing off my masters in a completely different country.”

Ajay Singh Raizada laughed. His son maybe of the ripe age of 25, but Arnav still acted 15 most of the time.

Ajay Singh Raizada, naam tho suna hoga. He’s one of the richest men in India and is constantly moving around the world, setting up new business deals and extending his empire. This year, his business has brought him and his son to South Africa. Usually Ajay travels on his own, leaving his family in India to get on with their lives, but something about South Africa made Ajay want to bring Arnav. Something spoke to him, made him feel like bringing Arnav was something he needed to do. So after long conversations, it was decided that Arnav would come with his father and he would complete his last semester of his masters in business at Anchorlite College.

Arnav gave his father a hug, took his blessing and made his way out so he could get to college.

“Khushi, have you seen that new guy around?”

“What new guy?”

“The hot Indian.”

Khushi looked up from her book at her friend Katie.

“What are you talking about?”

“The hot Indian! He’s new, I heard he’s finishing his masters in business.”

“I haven’t seen a ‘hot Indian’ nor have I heard anything about him.”

“How would you hear anything? You’ve been in this library all day with your earphones in and your head in that book.”

“Katie, we have exams soon. You should be in this library with me and you should have your head in a book too.”

“But Khushiiiii!”

“No sh! Either you sit and do you’re reading, or you go away.”

Katie stamped her foot lightly and pouted. Khushi looked up at her best friend and laughed.

“You really are such a child.”

“You know you love me like this.”

“I do, but Kay, I really need to work.”

“You work too hard. Any way, I’m going. I’ll see you at home.”

Khushi nodded and Katie left. Katie was the first person to take Khushi under her wing when she arrived here and she was eternally grateful. Khushi had thought that the move here would be quite easy, but she found it very difficult. She felt home sick quite quickly and really struggled to make friends with people. But like a blessing, Katie entered her life and Khushi had a sister that she had always wanted. Katie helped Khushi get her bearings sorted and also offered Khushi a place to stay. She was reluctant at first, but as Khushi and Katie became friends, she realised that this was the best thing that could have possibly happened to her.

*****

“Katie, I’m going to work.”

Katie came rushing out of her bedroom.

“You’re going to work?”

“Yeah.”

“But you just got home. I thought you needed to work on your paper.”

“I do, but there’s an extra shift at work so I need to go.”

“Khushi… You’re over working yourself.”

“I’m fine don’t worry. I’ll be back later.”

Khushi gave Katie a hug and then left. Katie looked at the clock and sighed. It was almost 9pm. Ever since she had met Khushi, Khushi was constantly juggling. She knew that Khushi didn’t have any family to back her to help her pay for her bills, but she couldn’t stand seeing her friend working like this, it hurt her heart that Khushi had no time to relax. But alas there was nothing she could do except support Khushi.

*****

It was nearing 10pm and Khushi was getting tired. She’d only been working about an hour, but she had covered a shift earlier that morning and she had been at college during the day. Khushi felt her eyes pulling but she needed to get through the next half an hour and then she would be able to go home. She didn’t mind working in the evenings, not many people came in. There were the regulars who liked to buy a coffee and sit and do their work, but they didn’t bother her and no one else really came in at that time so she didn’t have to do much work. It was fairly easy money to make.

It was a little while later and Khushi was cleaning out the coffee machine when the little chime above the door made a noise to signify that a customer had just walked in. Khushi straightened out her apron and moved to behind the counter, ready to take the order. The man came and stood before her and she couldn’t help but drool a little. He was gorgeous. He had dark brown, almost black hair, his eyes were molten chocolate brown, and she could see his muscles bulging under her shirt.

“Can I get a black coffee please.”

Khushi nodded and went to work straight away. Who was this guy? Why had she never seen him before? And did god really make such beautiful men?

So you all are probably wondering why I have started another story when I currently have 2 stories ongoing when they are nowhere near finished. Well what has happened is, I have a reader, dear Isha from South Africa, who has proposed this story idea to me. The chapters of this story will be shorter than that of my other stories and the overall story itself will not go on for too long, I am hoping to get it all done in about 10-15 chapters. So I hope you guys enjoy this story! Also, this story will not affect the updating schedule for my other stories. I will upload this in addition to my other stories.

Isha, I hope I can do justice to your story idea and I hope you enjoy it x

Discussion: First Episode, First Impressions

So after the success of my first discussion post, I have decided to make this a new section of my blog.

Many of you here are already away of IPKKND3 and today we got the first episode. I have just finished watching it and I have many opinions. I have read the written update (just to make sure I understood everything that we learnt in the episode) and I have also read  number of reviews, just to feel out other people’s views. So here’s my short review of the epsiode.

1. Barun freakin Sobti! He’s back with a bang. The moment the show opened with him, everything was gone from my head. If my calculations are correct, I believe it’s been about 4 years and 6ish months since IPKKND ended and it felt SO GOOD to see Barun on tv. I know he has had other projects in between, but they hadn’t really come to my attention. But to see him again, after so long with his ASR vibe felt so good. His entry, what we initially saw of him, the little bit of his story, all that really captivated me. I’m not sure if that was the Barun affect or the affect of the story, but at that point, I was hooked.

Also, his scene at the end, him pulling the rope, the point where his vain was popping out of his neck? That’s acting, that’s a real actor. He made that look real, look believable, the magic was there.

2. The lead girl… I didn’t like her entrance and I didn’t like her beginning. However, her interaction with her father got me. She’s a good actress, she made me feel her pain in that moment, so I have high hopes for her acting. But I must admit, that was the only point where she had my undivided attention. When she was telling her story to the other guy, I lost interest to Ben completely honest.

3. The aunts in front of the temple, I didn’t like. At this point I really, really lost interest and honestly, I have no idea what they were on about. I got bored as hell and I was ready to turn away at that point. They seemed very basic, the basic kind of characters you get in all of these shows. They didn’t bring anything to the table like buaji or Mamiji did in the original IPKKND.

So really, if Braun wasn’t in the show, this is that type of show which I would have had one look at and would never have looked at again. I don’t think any other actor could have captivated me at the beginning. (or at all) I feel like the story has potential, but personally for me, it didn’t call out to me and if not for Barun I’m sure I wouldn’t be tuning in again.

I also feel like I lot of people tuned in today because of Barun only. I strongly believe that if Barun wasn’t in the show, or if it didn’t carry the IPKKND name, a lot more people wouldn’t have given the show a second look.

I understand many people will not agree with me, and that’s fine. We are here to discuss, to share our opinions. All in all, I got bored and at one point I didn’t know what was going on at all, hence why I had to go and look at the written update. I will carry on watching for the rest of the week, but if by Friday I’m still bored, then I’m afraid, Barun or no Barun, they will lose a regular viewer in me.

Please let let me know what what you guys thought of the episode and leave your comments. Discuss with each other, and have fun guys!

I’d also like to take this moment to promote my work 😂 I’ve had a HUGE increase in views and stuff since the last discussion post. So if you are someone new, please do check out my stories and let me know what you think! Leave a like and a comment, it would mean a lot to me!
