He’s Amazing ~ Part 89

“Bhai?”
“Khushi?”
“No!”

Khushi dropped the plate in her hand and rushed off to her bedroom. Arnav looked between where Khushi was and at his friend.

“What on Earth is going on?”
“I think we should sit down ASR.”

*****

Khushi left her bedroom a little while later and sat on the sofa next to Arnav and opposite her brother.

“Are you ok?”
“Arnav, I think we all need to talk. Arnav this is my big brother.”
“I know, Kabir’s just told me.”

“How did you recognise me Khushi?”
“You look more like dad now.”
“Khushi…”
“Arnav, can me and Bhai talk alone for a bit?”
“Ok, fine. You guys talk. If you need me I’ll be watching tv in our bedroom.”

Arnav got up, gave Khushi’s hand an encouraging squeeze and then left.

“Khushi…”
“No. Tell me why you left me all alone as a kid and why you never EVER came back for me?”
“Khushi..”
“No just explain why you left me all alone when I needed you the most.”
“Khushi, I came home to find our parents dead on the floor. I’m sorry it may have been hard for you sis, but at the time I panicked and I didn’t know what the hell to do.”
“You could have at least stuck around so I wouldn’t have to have been alone when finding my parents dead!”
“I’m sorry Khushi, I panicked at the time, I regret it now.”
“Why did you never come back?”
“I did. I went back to our home and our neighbours said that you were adopted by dad’s friend Mr Kashyap. I got in contact with them but I said I wasn’t ready to meet you. After that when I got a job I started sending money for you every month.
“Aunty and uncle told you I was getting married, you never came…”
“I couldn’t Khushi, I couldn’t get time off for work… But I came now to see you. I was going to go to aunty and uncles tomorrow morning after seeing Arnav. So I come here and what do I find, my little sister married to my best friend!”
“Bhai, I want to be mad at you, but I can’t. I’ve been hoping you come back for years now! Promise me, promise you’ll never leave me again. I can’t loose my big brother again.”
“I promise lil’ sis! But you don’t even need me any more. You got Arnav!”
“Speaking of which, I think we should let him join us again!”

Khushi left the living room and went into her bedroom to find Arnav watching tv. Arnav saw Khushi enter the room and jumped to his feet.

“You ok?”
“Yeah.”
“You sorted things with Kabir?”
“Kind of… Arnav, he’s my brother and I love him… But I don’t know. There’s something within me that won’t let me forgive him completely.”
“I understand. It’ll take time baby. Its been so long and he left you when you needed him the most. But he’s here now. It’ll take time, but you’ll forgive him.”
“I hope so…”
“Shall we go into the living room again?”
“Yes.”

Arnav and Khushi went back into the living room and sat down and they began talking to Kabir.

*****

“Wow would you look at the time! I should get going!”
“Where are you staying?”
“I’ll find a hotel.”
“I cant allow that! Kabir my friend, please stay here for tonight.”
“Arnav, I couldn’t…”
“Sure you can! You’re my best friend and Khushi’s brother so why not?”

Kabir turned to Khushi.

“Is that ok with you? I understand it might be a bit awkward for you.”
“It’s ok bhai, you can stay here!”
“It’s settled, Kabir you’re staying here while you’re here!”

Khushi smiled and mumbled about going to get the guest room tidy. She made her way to the guest room and shut the door behind her and then pulled out her phone.

“LA GUESS WHAT’S JUST HAPPENED!”
“Well hello to you too.”
“I’m serious Lavanya, guess what’s just happened.”
“Have you and Jiju argued?”
“Noo!”
“Then?”
“MY BROTHERS HERE!”
“WHAT?”
“EXACTLY THAT! MY BIG BROTHER IS HERE, IN MY APARTMENT, TALKING TO MY HUSBAND!”
“I’m so confused, what on Earth’s going on?”

Khushi explained everything that had just happened in their household. Lavanya listened patiently and then answered.

“Khushi, if you’re feeling uncomfortable just come home. Like mom and dad miss you so much they wouldn’t mind if you came round to stay the night.”
“No its okay La. I just needed to talk to you.”
“Well if you do need anything just call ok. Or if you really feel uncomfortable just come round, ok?”
“Yes. Ok. Thank you La.”
“What are sisters for?”
“I love you Lavanya, so damn much.”
“I know you do and I love you too.”

Khushi disconnected the call. She would be fine. She’d be able to go through with all of this. After all she’s got her supportive family as well as her sex god husband. She could do this.

Scars ~ Part 4

Khushi woke up before Arnav the next morning. She looked at her husband/friend and smiled. Maybe, gradually, she’d get all the happiness she never used to get before. Maybe, just maybe…

*****

“Good morning Chote! You’re up late today.”
“Just really tired and I don’t have any early meetings so I can take my time before getting to work.”
“Oh I see. Well Breakfasts ready so eat!”
“Di, when’s Akaash and Payal coming back?”
“I completely forgot! They come back today!”

“Seriously?!”

“Yes! They get in at 7 today!”

“Oh damn! I’ll have to go receive them then won’t I?”

“No, Akaash said not to worry, he’s got something arranged.”

“Oh alright then.”

“Chote, what time did you get home yesterday?”

“Half 11. Why?”

“Chote, I told you to come home early. Khushi was waiting for you.”

“Yes I know she was, but I had work. My works important to me too you know.”

“I understand, but I thought I made it clear to you that I wanted you to spend time with Khushi and make her feel loved.”

“If I did that Di, I’d be lying to her. You know I don’t love her. Nor do I really care about her. I only married her for your sake. Nothing else.”

“But you’ve married her now, give this relationship an opportunity.”

“Di. Just stop. You know Khushi isn’t the kind of girl for me. Say I accepted her. She’d still never be able to give me what I want. What I need.”

“You don’t know that! You don’t know anything about her. How can you say so much even before having a proper conversation with her?”

“She’s an orphan Di, who grew up in a slum of an orphanage. She has no idea what class is or how to mingle with people of my society.”

“Chote, you’re being bang out of order.”

“It might be an orphanage you fund for, but its still a mess. You know it. But that doesn’t even matter. What matters is she isn’t my kind of girl and never will be!”

At this point Arnav got to his feet and walked towards the front door. On his way to the door he bumped into Khushi.

“Oh, er, good morning Arnavji! Have you had breakfast?”

“No.”

“I’ll get you your breakfast now then.”

“Don’t bother. I’m off.”

Without another moments thought Arnav walked out of the house. Khushi turned around to find a flustered looking Anjali and made her way to her.

“What’s the matter Di? Is he upset with me again? I know I’m running a bit late… But…”

“No, no. It’s not you. He’s just got a lot on his mind.”

“Oh I see. Have you eaten Di?”

“No I haven’t, and neither have you. So we shall eat together!”

Khushi smiled and the two of them made their way to the dining table.

*****

*Ding Dong*

Anjali rushed towards the door and threw it open. Before her stood a handsome man whose features resembled Arnav’s…

“Di!”

“Akaash!”

The two hugged.

“Gosh Di, I’ve missed you so, so, so much!”

“I have missed you too!”

Along with Akaash was a tall and beautiful woman in a pink sari.

“Payal! I missed you! The house is always dead without you!”

“I missed you too Di, you should have come with us. No wedding is a wedding without you!”

“I know, but while you were off enjoying a wedding, I had to organise my Chote’s wedding.”

The trio walked into the house and sat down in the living room.

“But honestly Di, you got Bhai married without us around.”

“Akaash, like I said on the phone, we couldn’t wait. I’m really sorry. It wasn’t a big thing and we didn’t have time to wait around.”

“We understand, its ok. We can have a big party later on.”

“We could… But I don’t think Chote would be up for it. He’s not really happy with the wedding…”

“Where is our new Bhabi?”

“She’s just gone to get changed. She’s been really excited about you guys coming home. She’s been really eager to meet Payal. I think the idea of her having someone close to her age to talk to is something she’s really looking forward to.”

“I am too! It would be lovely to have someone else to talk to and go shopping with as well.”

At that precise moment Khushi began descending the stairs. Payal looked up smiling…

“What? No, it can’t be…”

Payal got to her feet and walked towards Khushi. Khushi now looked up at the woman approaching her. Payal sopped a few feet away from Khushi.

“Kh-Khushi?”

“Jiji?”

He’s Amazing ~ Part 88

They got home late that evening. Arnav and Khushi offered for NK and Lavanya to stay at their apartment for the evening.

“But Nanav mera bhai, you only have one guest bedroom?”
“So?”
“I don’t like sleeping on the sofa.”
“NK, you have La have spent nights together in the past. One night won’t kill you.”

Lavanya and NK looked at each other and blushed. Khushi yawned.

“Well guys, you know where the guest room is, my wife is sleepy. So we’re off to bed.”
“Goodnight Jiju.”
“Goodnight guys.”

Arnav and Khushi left the room and went into the bedroom. They put their stuff down and Khushi went into the bathroom. Once she came out Arnav went in. When he came out, he found Khushi to already be asleep. He tucked her into bed and then kissed her forehead and got into bed himself.

*****

*Knock on the door*

“What the? Who the hell?”
“Nanav mera bhai! Wake up! La has breakfast ready.”
“NK, we’re sleeping mate!”

Khushi muttered in her sleep and the rubbed her eyes.

“What’s that?”
“NK trying to wake us up.”
“He’s definitely woken me up.”
“Aw Khushi can’t we just stay in bed all day?”

Khushi laughed and got out of bed and made her way to the bathroom.
Arnav mumbled and too got out of bed.

*****

“Thanks for preparing this amazing breakfast!”
You’re welcome Jiju!”
“Well me and La are going to be off now.”
“Oh stay a little bit longer!”
“Can’t bhabi, made plans to see some friends today.”
“Oh. Well you guys should come round again soon.”

NK and Lavanya took their leave. Arnav closed the door behind them and slumped down on the sofa.

“Right now. What shall we do today Mrs Raizada?”
“Whatever you want Mr Raizada!”
“I say we get into bed and do what we do best!”
“Arnav! Is that all you think about?”
“Pretty much. Why?”

Khushi shook her head and laughed. Khushi moved away from the sofa and began making her way towards the kitchen when she felt a pair of strong arms around her waist.

“Arnav, let go…”
“No.”

Arnav moved Khushi’s dupatta aside slightly and began kissing her neck.

“Arnavvv…”
“Shhh baby.”

Arnav slowly turns Khushi around in his arms and looks deep into her eyes.

“You are beautiful, in every single way…”
“I love you Arnav.”
“I know you do… And I love you too baby.”

Khushi blushed and bit her lip.

“No, don’t do that. Only I can bite your lip.”

Arnav cupped Khushi’s cheeks and moved into kiss her…Khushi’s eyes fluttered shut…

*Ring, ring, ring, ring*

“What the?”
“It’s your phone.”
“Who care. I’m kissing my wife at the moment.”
“It could be important. Take the call.”
“Fine.”

Arnav pulled himself away from Khushi and grumbled to where his phone was and answered it.

“What is it Di, you just interrupted a moment between me and my wife.”
“Chote! I didn’t need to know that! Any way, sorry, but this is important.”
“Well hurry up!! I got unfinished business with Khushi.”
“Chote, you know your friend from college Kabir? Well he’s here!”
“What? Are you being seroious!?”
“Yes!!”
“I’ll be right over!”
“No its ok chote, I’m sending him over to yours right now!”
“Great! Thanks Di! I’ll talk to you soon. Bye.”

Arnav disconnected the call and turned to Khushi.

“Di called. One of my best friends from college is here! And he’s coming round!”
“Oh that’s great! Oh we have to tidy up and get ready properly then!”

Khushi rushed away and began pottering around, tidying bits away and putting some snacks together.

*Half an hour later*

“I’ll get the door.”

Arnav rushed to the door and opened it. There stood before him was a tall man, with a wide smile on his face.

“Arnav!”
“Kabir!”
“Good to see you bro.”
“You too! Come in, come in!”

Arnav led Kabir into the living room and they sat down.

“What are you doing here! I swear you left for London!”
“I did. But I missed home and I decided that I’d come and see you as well!”
“It’s great you did!”
“So how have you been Mr Harvard Graduate?”
“I’ve been good man.”
“Di was telling me you got married! You got married and you didn’t even tell me!”
“Sorry… It happened quite suddenly and everything was quite rushed but yeah.”
“So where is my Bhabi?”
“She’s in the kitchen. Hold up. KHUSHI? You coming honey?”

Kabir looked at Arnav. Khushi? Could it be… No, no.

“I’m coming.”

Khushi walked out of the kitchen and into the living room. She looked to the guest with a smile, but when she saw him… Her expression fell. Was it really? No. It couldn’t be.

“Bhai?”

Scars ~ Part 3

Arnav walked into the house at 11:30 and found the entire house to be dark. He didn’t bother switching the lights on. It was late and everyone would probably be asleep and he didn’t want to disturb them. Arnav walked into the kitchen and looked around. Strange, there wasn’t any food left on side for him. Arnav shrugged his shoulders and left the kitchen and went into the dining room. There he saw Khushi asleep on the table. He walked towards her and tapped her shoulder. Khushi awoke with a jerk.

“Oh, er, Arnavji you’re back! I didn’t realise. Oh I’m so sorry! Let me quickly warm your food for you.”
“Khushi it’s ok. You go to bed. I’ll eat.”
“No, no Arnavji. It’s ok. This is my duty! I don’t mind.”
“Well I do! For goodness sake Khushi, I get home after a long days work and I find you asleep, my food cold and then you’re mumbling about god knows what!”
“Arnavji, I’m sorry…”
“Just shut up Khushi!”

Khushi looked at Arnav with large eyes. She looked down, fighting back the tears and then rushed away and flew up the stairs to their bedroom. Arnav watched her go.

“Shit, I made her cry!” Arnav ran his hand through his hair and rushed after her. Arnav pushed to door open slowly to find Khushi holding her knees close to her chest, crying. He walked over to her side and sat beside her. Gently he reached out for her.

“Khushi…”

Khushi moved her body away. Arnav moved closer to her.

“Khushi, listen. I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to snap at you. It just happened. It’s been a long day at work and I’m hungry and you were blubbering. It was all just too much. But that doesn’t excuse how I spoke to you. I’m sorry.”
“It’s alright. I understand.”

Arnav offered Khushi his hand and she took it. He helped her up and sat her down onto the bed.

“Khushi, I want to tell you something today. This marriage, I did it for the sake of my family. I don’t see you as my wife. Not now any way. I need time. I can’t accept you as my wife right away because I hardly know you. Khushi I want to get to know you. What you like, what you don’t like. I want us to be friends.”

Khushi looked up.

“Friends?”
“Yes, I want us to be friends.”
“I do too.”
“Really?”
“Yes, I would like to get to know more about you Arnavji.”
“That’s great! Well now. I’m hungry. Have you eaten?”
“Well, I…”
“You haven’t right? Come on Khushi, we’ll go eat together.”

Khushi nodded and they left their bedroom and made their way downstairs. Arnav sat at the table while Khushi went to heat up the food.
After a while Khushi came back.

“No, it’s ok, you don’t need to serve me.”
“But I want to.”
“Alright then.”

Khushi served Arnav a bit of all the things Anjali had said he liked.

*****

“Wow, that food was nice!”
“Yes! It was. Di is an amazing cook!”
“That she certainly is! Right well, its been a long day, we should get into bed.”
“I’ll just tidy up and then I’ll come up.”
“Ok.”

Arnav left and Khushi went to tidy up the dishes. Once she was done, she dried her hands and made her way towards their bedroom. She opened the door to find Arnav was already in bed. She smiled to him and then shut the door. She went into the bathroom and got ready for bed.
Khushi came back and got into bed too. Arnav smiled to her.

“I really am sorry about before.”
“Really its ok Arnavji. I understand.”
“Well goodnight.”
“Goodnight.”

Khushi turned her back to him and fell asleep almost instantly. Arnav on the other hand was awake for much longer. Only one thing was passing his mind. Only one thought. “I don’t deserve Khushi…”

Scars ~ Part 2

Arnav woke up the next morning and slowly turned. Khushi was still asleep beside him. He shook his head and got off the bed and went into the bathroom with his clothes and towel. Arnav stripped his clothes away and went into the shower cubical and turned the cold water on. The water cascaded down his body. What had his life come to? He had finally allowed his sister and nani to make the biggest decision of his life. He was now a married man, with a mere girl as his wife. What were they thinking? She was only 19! Still a child in his eyes. How could they think this marriage would ever work, given the fact they knew he would never have a place in his heart for her. Once he felt himself calm down, he turned the hot water on and showered normally.

When Arnav got out of the bathroom he saw that Khushi was awake and had tidied the bed.

“Good morning.”

“Good morning Arnav ji.”

She smiled and then went into the bathroom to get ready.

Arnav waited until she was ready and they went down to have breakfast together.

Anjali saw the new couple walking down the stairs and smiled.

“The bride and groom are finally coming!”

Khushi blushed and Arnav simply nodded in acknowledgement. Anjali watched her brother come and sit down; he was how she had expected him to look. Anjali signed and sat down at the table as well.

“Khushi beta, sit down.”

Khushi nodded and Anjali passed Khushi a plate and helped her get food.

“Did you sleep well Khushi?”

“Yes I did Anjali ma’am.”

“Is chote looking after you?”

Khushi turned to Arnav and smiled and then nodded her head.

“Do you want anything, is there anything we can get you to feel more at home?”

“I am fine there is nothing else I want.”

“Khushi, please, you can’t call me Anjali ma’am anymore. Please, call me di.”

Khushi blushed and then nodded.

“Ji, Di.”

Arnav rolled his eyes and finished eating.

“I’m going to work di.”

“You can’t go to work, you’ve only just got married!”

“And? I have important work to do and Khushi has you guys to look after her. Any way, when are Akaash and Payal coming back?”

“Should be in the next few days, they want to see Khushi before you go off on your honeymoon.”

“Right, whatever, I’m off.”

Arnav finished his breakfast and left the table. Anjali sighed and realised that Arnav wasn’t going to move on with Khushi and forget about everything that had happened before.

“I will make sure you accept this relationship chote, I’m not going to let you hurt her, we are now her family, the only people she’s got and we have to take care of her.”

After finishing her breakfast, Khushi sat with Anjali, nani, mamiji and NK. They talked about many different topics. Anjali showed pictures of their family from when they were younger. Khushi laughed to see some of the expressions Arnav and Anjali had pulled.  One of the most recent pictures, showed Arnav shirtless holding a football trophy in his hands with many other men around him. Khushi gazed at the photograph. The man in the picture was her husband. His body was well built and toned. Khushi blushed looking at it, and turned her head away.

*****

“Chote why aren’t you back yet?”

“Di I told you, I have lots of work to do here.”

“Yes but you should be here, helping Khushi getting settled.”

“Di, you’re there, you do what you do best and make her feel comfortable.”

“When will you be back?”

“I’ll be late, don’t wait up for me.”

Before Anjali could say anything more, Arnav disconnected the call. Anjali sighed, maybe this was going to be harder than she had imagined.

Anjali went downstairs and helped to start getting dinner ready. Once everything was done, everyone came together to eat.

“Di, I’ll wait until Arnav ji gets back and I’ll eat with him.”

“He said he’ll be late Khushi, you eat with us.”

“Di, I’ll feel bad if I don’t serve him dinner.”

“You’re so cute! Alright, fine, but if he’s too late, you eat and go to bed.”

Khushi smiled. Everyone finished dinner, cleared up and then went to their respective bedrooms to go to sleep. Khushi sat at the table with her phone in her hand, playing a game. She looked at the time, it was only half 8, he wouldn’t be too much later now.

He’s Amazing ~ Part 87

“Arnavvv…”

“You like what I’m doing to you baby?”

“Mmmmh…”

“Babe, you’re so tight and you’re so close!”

“Ahh, Arnav please!”

“Please what? This?”

Arnav angled his manliness in such a way; he was hitting her sensitive spot over and over again. This made Khushi moan out in ecstasy and Arnav goaned, he needed to release. Moments later, Khushi climaxed and Arnav too found his release. Arnav held Khushi close to his body and they listened to each other’s heartbeat. They wrapped themselves around each other, still in an intimate embrace. The most intimate there could ever be.

“That was the best love making ever Mrs Raizada.”

“I agree Mr Raizada.”

*****

Ayaan and Sia’s wedding ended. Arnav, Khushi, NK and Lavanya had, had an immense amount of fun at the wedding. The foursome went to Ayaan’s house with the new couple and they played all the post-wedding games with them. Ayaan’s sister joined them after a while.

“I must take my new sister in law, and get her ready for her Suhaag raat!”

Lavanya and Khushi teased her and Sia blushed.

“You go Sia and prepare yourself. We’ll be leaving in a bit, wont we Arnav?”

“Yeah, we will. Good luck Sia and make sure you and Ayaan come to NK and Lavanya’s wedding.”

Sia blushed and Ayaan’s sister took her away. Khushi and La sat down beside their partners and they spoke to Ayaan for a little while longer. Then his sister came down again.

“Bhai, Bhabi’s waiting for you.”

Ayaan nodded. Arnav, Khushi, NK and La, got up and they said their last words of farewell.

“Again, you will have to come to our place during NK and Lavanya’s wedding. You guys can stay at our flat with us!”

“Sure, ASR thanks for coming mate. It was lovely having you guys here.”

“Thanks for having us.”

Once they had all finished. They turned for the door and left. They began getting into the car and Arnav took the drivers seat with Khushi beside him. They drove late into the night and NK and Lavanya fell asleep in the back. Khushi too was getting very tired.

“Khushi, go to sleep. You’re really tired.”

“I know, but then you’d get bored. I have to keep you company right?”

“It’s alright babe, you go to sleep, and I’ll put some music on or something.”

Khushi leaned back in her seat and closed her eyes. Slumber must have taken hold of Khushi because the next thing she felt was the car coming to an abrupt stop, throwing everyone forward. NK and Lavanya too were awake and wanted to know what happened.

“Is everyone ok?”

“Arnav, what happened?!”
”There was a car coming towards us and I moved out of its way and then I don’t know what happened, I just braked really hardly. I’m sorry guys.”

“It’s ok jiju, are you ok?”

“I’m fine La.”

“Nanav, let me drive, you’re tired.”

“NK, its ok. I’ll get us home.”

“No I’m driving, you need rest.”

“Arnav, please.”

Arnav looked at his wife, who he could tell was terrified over what had just happened. He nodded and unclipped his seat belt. Everyone else did the same and they rearranged themselves. NK took the drivers seat and La went next to him, while Arnav and Khushi went to the back. Once everyone had their belts on NK started driving. Khushi cuddled up to Arnav and he held her close to his body.

“You ok?”

“Khushi you’ve asked that before, I’m fine.”

“You’re tired, go to sleep baby.”

“Khushi, I’m fine.”

Khushi placed a tender kiss on Arnav’s lips and then pulled him so that his head was on her lap.

“Go to sleep now.”

Arnav shook his head and smirked and wrapped his arms around Khushi’s waist and slowly began closing his eyes. Soon enough Arnav feel asleep. Khushi saw his sleeping face and smiled to herself. He looked so cute when sleeping, just like a baby. Khushi ran her fingers through his hair slowly. His hair was just so soft and lovely. She loved running her fingers through his hair, however he didn’t let her do it. The only time she could was during hair love making, or when kissing, but during those times the other sensation overwhelmed he and she couldn’t relish the feel of his hair in her hands.

La turned around and saw Khushi looking lost.

“Aww jiju fell asleep?”

“Yeah, I made him.”

“He looks so cute when sleeping!”

“La! Go away, you’re not allowed to call my husband cute!”

“You call NK cute, I don’t say anything to that.”

“Yeah you cant, because he’s my devar before you’re boyfriend/fiancé/future husband!”

“La, Khushi bhabi does have a point!”

“Why thank you devar ji.”

“You’re very welcome bhabi ji.”

La shook her head and then laughed. Khushi kissed Arnav forehead and smiled. He really was so very cute. How could a man who looked so innocent actually be such a tornado in bed? Khushi blushed, her thoughts were getting bolder as the days passed ad she knew it. Khushi placed her head over Arnav’s ear and whispered,

“I love you baby.”

Scars ~ Part 1

Khushi sat on the bed. She was now married. Her new life had begun.

Indeed, she hadn’t really wanted to get married, especially because she knew nothing about the man who was supposed to be her husband, but she had to, she had no other choice. It was either she got married into a loving family, or remain an unloved burden. She chose to get married. Anjali ma’am, now her di, had helped her so much over the last god knows how many years.

Khushi’s thoughts were interrupted when she heard the door slowly open. Khushi looked down at her knees. Arnav pushed the door open and then shut it, locking it behind her. Khushi clutched her knees closer to her chest. He slowly walked towards the bed. Khushi saw from the corner of her eye that he was sitting down beside her.

“Erm, Khushi, I er… I think you should go and change into something you’ll find more comfortable.”

Khushi looked up, the veil still covering her face.

“But it’s tradition that I spend my first night in my bridal attire.”

“But it’s not comfortable. Go and get changed, no one will say anything.”

“Are you sure Arnav ji?”

“Yeah.”

Khushi nodded and then slowly and carefully got off the bed. She went to where her two little bags were and opened the first one and pulled out her pink cotton salwar kameez. She then walked to the bathroom and shut the door behind her.

Arnav pulled his sharwani off and got into his track bottoms and hit t-shirt. He then sat on the bed. He was now married, a married man. He was married to a girl he’s never seen before, never spoken to before, didn’t know anything about.

Arranged marriages. Who in the world invented such a stupid thing? It was pathetic. How could someone expect him to just marry and live with a girl he knew nothing about? Arnav ran his hand through his slick black hair and lay down.

After about half an hour the bathroom door opened and Khushi walked out. Arnav got up and tried to smile, but he realised he failed.

“Are you ok?”

“Yes, thank you. Just was a bit of a challenge to get all the jewellery and then lengha off.”

“Well it’s late now and we’ve both had a long day, we should go to sleep.”

Khushi nodded in agreement. She was glad that he didn’t expect anything to happen between them.

Arnav lay down again and Khushi looked confused. Arnav got up again.

“What’s the matter?”

“Where should I?”

“On the bed!”

“But…”

“Khushi, we’re married, we can share a bed can’t we?”

Khushi thought and then nodded. She didn’t like idea of sharing a bed with a stranger, but this stranger was her husband. She slowly made her way to the bed and then got up and lay down. Arnav too lay down beside her. He switched the lights off and then lay down, shutting his eyes.

An hour or so passed and in all that time, all Khushi had been doing was toss and turning. Arnav too couldn’t get to sleep. Arnav sighed and turned to face Khushi.

“What’s the matter?”

“I can’t get to sleep.”

“Should I get you anything? Hot chocolate maybe?”

“No thank you Arnav ji. I was thinking, maybe we could just talk for a while.”

“Yeah, ok.”

Khushi looked around, not knowing what to talk about. Then Arnav spoke.

“Are you really only 19?”

“Yes, I am. Why?”

“It’s just, not many girls you’re age agree to get married so soon.”

“I didn’t really want to, but I had no choice really. It was either I married you and lived with your lovely family, or stay there where I had been hated all my life.”

“Yes, di had said you’d had a hard time. Do you want to talk about it?”

“Not really.”

“Alright then.”

“Anjali ma’am said you’re 24.”

“Yeah, I am.”

“How come you agreed to marry me? I mean you’re THE Arnav Singh Raizada, all the girls love you. Why did you want to marry me?”

“Well I guess Nani and Di liked you, so I thought I might as well. They’re everything to me and I would do anything to make them happy.”

Khushi looked away and Arnav decided that he should tell her the truth about his feelings.

“Khushi, look, we’ve both got married, not because we want to, but because we felt that we needed to. I understand you don’t see me as your husband yet and I can’t accept you as my wife. Khushi can we be friends, we should start our relationship from somewhere.”

Khushi nodded.

“I’d like that.”

She smiled and then looked away. She couldn’t help but feeling a warm feeling within her. She had never had a proper friend before. Her only friend had been…

She didn’t want to think about that. She didn’t want to think about her past. There was too much pain there. Pain, which didn’t need to be remembered. This was her new life and she wanted to make the most of it.

Scars ~ Introduction

Only beautiful and special girls find love, not people like me. All I have ever felt during my life is pain and that’s all I’m destined for, pain, pain and more pain. I’m told to give life a chance, but all I get is pain. That’s all I will ever get.

The scars I have gained remind me every day, how unwanted and unloved I am. My reflection talks to me, telling me to give up, stop trying, but here I am dressing up, getting ready, ready for a new start.

Today I am getting married to Anjali madam’s one and only brother. Will he love me, or will he add to the scars I already have?

He’s Amazing ~ Part 86

“Fine! I wont talk to you then!”

Khushi got to her feet and walked away from Arnav. NK and Lavanya looked at Arnav, who was smirking.

“You’ve got something up your sleeve, right jiju?”

“Of course I have.”

*****

Khushi was sitting and talking to Ayaan.

“Are you sure you don’t want to dance with me Khushi? I don’t really mind.”

“No I’m fine Ayaan.”

“Ladies and gentlemen, may I make an announcement please. I am Arnav Singh Raizada and I just would like to thank everyone for coming and wishing my good friend Ayaan, if it wasn’t for him, then maybe my wife and me would never have got married. Thanks Ayaan, I will always remain grateful to you for that.

People my wife’s upset with me, so I want to make it up to her. So please don’t boo me off stage, I wish to present a song for my lady love.”

Khushi looked up, her eyes wide. She saw NK too come forward and pass Arnav a guitar. He slowly began strumming out a few notes and then the band too began playing and then Arnav began to sing the song “Pee Loon for Once Upon a Time in Mumbai.”

Pee Loon, Tere Neele Neele Nainon Se Shabnam
I shall feel the dew from your deep blue eyes

Pee Loon, Tere Geele Geele Hoton Ki Sargam
I shall enjoy the melody of your wet lips

Pee Loon, Hai Peene Ka Mausam
Let me feel, this is the time to enjoy

Tere Sang Ishq Taari Hai
With you I found Love

Tere Sang Ek Khumari Hai
When with you I feel elated

Tere Sang Chain Bhi Mujhko
I find peace with you

Tere Sang Bekaraari Hai
So do restless

Tere Bin Jee Nahin Lagta
Without you, I don’t see life

Tere Bin Jee Nahin Sakta
Without you, I can not live

Tujhpe Hain Haare, Maine Vaare Do Jahan
I have lost and gave away my world for you

Kurbaan Meharbaan
I surrender, your kindness

Ke Main Toh Kurbaan
I surrender myself

Sun Le Sada, Tera Kurbaan
Please listen, surrendered to you

Hosh Mein Rahun Kyun Aaj Main
Why should I remain in conscious today

Tu Meri Baahon Mein Simti Hai, Mujhmein Samayi Hai Yun
You are here in my arms, united within me

Jis Tarah Tu Koi Ho Nadi, Tu Mere Seene Mein Chhupti Hai
Like a river, you are hiding in my heart as if

Saagar Tumhara Main Hoon
I am the ocean for you

Pee Loon, Teri Dheemi Dheemi Lehron Ki Chham Chham
I shall feel the rhythm of your soft waves

Pee Loon, Teri Saundhi Saundhi Saanson Ko Har Dum
I shall feel your soft breath for ever

Pee Loon, Hai Peene Ka Mausam
Let me feel, this is the time to enjoy

Shaamko Milun Jo Main Tujhe
When I meet you in the evening

Toh Bura Subah Na Jaane Kyun Kuchh Maan Jaati Hai Yeh
I feel morning may feel bad for

Har Lamha, Har Ghadi, Har Pehar Hi Teri Yaadon Se Tadpake Mujhko Jalati Hai Yeh
Eevery hour, every moment burns me with your memories

Pee Loon, Main Dheere Dheere Jalne Ka Yeh Gham
I shall slowly drink the grief of burning

Pee Loon, Inn Gore Gore Haathon Se Hum Dum
Oh my love, I shall drink from your fair hands

Pee Loon, Hai Peene Ka Mausam
Let me feel, this is the time to enjoy

The song ended and everyone there clapped and cheered for him. Khushi rushed into his arms and hugged him.

“That was amazing Arnav!”

“I know it was.”

“You’re so talented!”

“Baby, there was a subliminal message in that song.”

“I know there was. And I’ll give you what you want. Tonight.”

“Shall we dance now?”

“I thought Mr Raizada didn’t dance.”

“Anything for his lady love.”

Arnav and Khushi got off the stage. They were going to start dancing when NK and La rushed to him.

“Jiju!! I never knew you could sing so well!”

“Nanav mera Bhai! That was amazing! Thank goodness I recorded the whole thing! I’m going to get it onto a DVD and show everyone at home!”

“Yeah whatever NK, leave us now, I want dance with my wife.”

NK and La went to an empty stop beside ArHi and they began dancing. Arnav held Khushi close and she placed her hands on his shoulders and they slowly began swaying on the spot to the song playing. Arnav’s arms were around her waist and he pulled her so close, that there was no room to even breath between them.

“You look beautiful in this sari.”

“And you look utterly dashing in this suit.”

“We’re so well paired.”

“That we are, Mr Raizada.”

“Our children will be so well bred. They’ve got hot Arnav Singh Raizada as their dad and the sexy Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada as their mom.”

“Do you want a child Arnav?”

“Not now, why?”

“Because you just brought up the topic all of a sudden.”

“No, I don’t want a child yet, you?”

“I still think we should wait at least a year before planning a baby.”

“I agree.”

“Thank you Arnav, for understanding me so well.”

They danced, slowly. The music was soothing. Arnav moved in slowly and kissed Khushi. it was a slow paced kiss, yet an utterly thorough one. Arnav bit Khushi’s bottom lip lightly and then pushed his tongue into her mouth, tasting the sweetness that was simply her.

They broke apart after a while and Khushi looked up to Arnav.

“I love you Arnav. I love you so much.”

“And that’s where our problem is. I love you a lot too.”

Forgotten Love ~ Part 15 ~ Last Part

Arnav and Khushi had a quiet breakfast and then went and sat in the living room. They looked through their anniversary pictures together.

“I’m sorry Arnav. I’m sorry I jumped to the worst conclusion.”

“It’s ok. I can understand how you might have been feeling.”

“Really, I don’t know why…”

“Khushi I told you, its ok.”

Khushi cuddled up to Arnav and he smiled he leaned in to kiss her, but Khushi stopped him. Khushi stood up.

“What’s the matter?”

Khushi took Arnav’s hand and signalled for him to get up. She then led him up to their bedroom. When inside she shut the door.

“Khushi what’s the matter?”

“I want my mangalsootra.”

“Oh yeah! I forgot! One second.”

Arnav rushed out of the bedroom and went into his one. He then came back a little while later. He came back and walked towards Khushi slowly and placed the little necklace on the neck and clasped it. Khushi touched it, smiling.

“It’s so pretty.”

“It is, but you’re prettier.”

*****

A few weeks had passed since Khushi had found out that she was Arnav’s wife. Their relationship had grown steadily.

Anjali had just had a baby girl and she and Shyam decided to call her Shalini. Payal was due any time soon, so everyone was keeping a close eye on her.

Arnav and Khushi were in their bedroom, talking about sweet nothings.

“Bhai, Bhabi! Payal’s in pain!”

Arnav and Khushi jumped up and rushed out of the room. Akaash had already got Payal into the car and Mamiji accompanied them. Arnav rushed down the stairs with Khushi a tiny bit behind him. The heel of her sandal got stuck to the bottom of her shelwar and Khushi lost balance. Slowly Khushi tumbled down the stairs.

“Arnav!”

Arnav turned and saw her falling. He rushed forward’s trying to maybe catch hold of her. Khushi feel to the floor and Arnav scooped her up.

“Khushi? Khushi! Baby speak to me!”

Anjali rushed forward and looked at Khushi.

“Oh god chote, take her to the hospital, her heads bleeding badly!”

Arnav gathered Khushi into his arms and rushed outside to the car. Shyam opened the door and Arnav placed Khushi carefully in the back seat. He then jumped into his seat and they were off within seconds.

5 minutes later

They had just got in through the large doors of the hospital and a nurse called for the doctor to come quick.

The nurses got Khushi onto a bed and then they wheeled it into the operation theatre. Arnav sat down. How could this happen, again this had happened. And both times he let it happen.

Akaash called then.

“Bhai where the hell are you?”

“Hospital.”

“Come here quick, they’ve taken Payal into the delivery room!”

“Akaash, I cant, Khushi’s in the operation theatre.”

Arnav explained what had happened once he and Payal had left.

“You take care Bhai, bhabi will be fine.”

“I hope so.”

Arnav disconnected the call and sat and waited.

A little while later

“Mr Raizada, we have stopped the bleeding and according to her x-rays we have taken, there is no lasting damage. So don’t worry. We’ll let you know when she comes round.”

Arnav nodded.

What would happen if she lost her memory all over again? Would he get her back so easily?

Arnav’s phone rang. He answered it.

“Bhai is bhabi ok?”

“She’s still unconscious but they’re saying she’ll be fine. How’s Payal?”

“She’s just had the baby! It’s a girl!”

“Congratulations bro! Akaash I’ll come and see you guys in a bit, I don’t want to leave Khushi.”

“Don’t worry about it. Its fine. No one can see Payal and the baby yet any way.”

“Take care of yourselves Akaash.”

“You to Bhai.”

Arnav disconnected the call.

1 hour later

“Mr Raizada! Mrs Raizada is coming round!”

Arnav nodded and rushed into the room they had moved her to. Arnav rushed in and practically ran to Khushi. He took hold of her little hand and held it tightly.

“Arnav…”

“I’m here, I’m here Khushi.”

Khushi’s eyes slowly opened. She looked at Arnav and smiled. She pushed herself up slowly.

“Let me help you.”

“Its ok, I can do it.”

Arnav wasn’t listening; he held Khushi carefully and helped her sit up.

“Should I get them to get you anything?”

“No I’m fine.”

“Khushi…”

“How’s Jiji?”

“She’s had the baby, it’s a girl. They’re both fine. I just talked to Akaash.”

“I’m so sorry for all of this. If I had been careful.”

“It’s not your fault Khushi.”

They looked at each other and smiled and then Khushi’s expression changed.

“I remember! I remember everything! How we met, how we got married, our life up until the accident and then everything after that as well! Arnav, my memory has come back!”

“Khushi…”

“No I’m serious! I remember! I didn’t accept our marriage to start with and then I slowly began falling in love with you, and then on our anniversary I forgot to get you something and then we went out and then…”

Khushi couldn’t continue because Arnav had silenced her with a kiss. His kiss was deep, searching. Khushi responded to the kiss with the equal amount of passion and Arnav realised that she indeed had got her memory back. They hadn’t kissed like this in what felt like eternity. Slowly Arnav pulled away from her.

“I don’t believe this. I’ve got you back. Well and truly this time.”

“Yes you have.”

“The last few months have been tough.”

“I know. It’s been hard for you Arnav, I’m sorry.”

“Why are you apologising Khushi?”

“It’s because of me things have been so tough.”

“No, it was what was destined to happen. Whatever happened for the best. I feel that all of these things have strengthened our relationship.”

Khushi smiled and she kissed Arnav again.

“It feels so good to be back!”

5 months later

Khushi was baby-sitting. She had a 6-month-old Shalini sitting in front of her on the floor and little Akaashi in her lap. Arnav walked into the living room and saw the 3 princesses. One, his brother’s princess, the other, his sister’s princess and then the third was his personal princess.

Khushi had finally managed to get Akaash, Payal, Anjali and Shyam to leave the kids and go out so they spend some time together as couples. Nani, mamiji, mamaji and Ankina had gone to a close relatives house and NK had just gone out. Arnav looked at Khushi. It would have been the perfect time for them to spend some time together, preferably locked in their bedroom, but they couldn’t, they were stuck, baby sitting!

“Remind me again why we are stuck with the babies?”

“Because their parents are spending quality time alone.”

“What about us!”

“We are spending time together too.”

“I meant me and you, without the babies!”

“Mr Raizada, how dare you speak like that about my nieces? Now be a good uncle and play with them too!”

Arnav shook his head and came and sat beside Khushi. Khushi passed Akaashi to Arnav and he held her in his arms.

Arnav rocked the little girl in his arms slowly and she soon fell asleep.

“You are a natural with kids Arnav.”

“I guess I am!”

“Arnav, maybe its time we…”

“I know what you’re going to say.”

“What do you think then?”

“If that’s what you want, then yeah.”

“Really?”

“Yes Khushi. I agree and think that it is time that we started thinking about having our own baby.”

Khushi jumped to her feet and wanted to hug Arnav, but couldn’t because he had little Akaashi in his arms. Shalini began crying so Khushi had to pick her up off the floor.

After a while Shalini too fell asleep. Arnav and Khushi took the two little girls into their room and placed them onto the bed. Khushi got up and hugged Arnav.

“I hope we have a boy.”

“I was a pretty little girl. And I hope she looks like you.”

“I love you Arnav.”

“But you have to make a deal with me.”

“What’s that then?”

“You can’t forget my love once we have a baby.”

“Can I ever forget your love?”

~The End~

Finally finished this story! Don’t be too sad though guys. I’m going to be starting a new story next week; it’s going to be called ‘Scars.’ Its going to be something completely different to what I have written so far, with a completely different theme to it. I hope you enjoy it as much as you have enjoyed ‘Forced to Love?’ ‘He’s Amazing’ and ‘Forgotten Love.’ I will be posting the thread for ‘Scars’ soon, as soon I have all the banners in.
