He’s Amazing ~ Part 80

She took a deep breath and then began telling her story.

“Well, I…”

There was a knock on the door and Pooja stopped. Khushi went to open it.

“Khushi, what on earth’s going on?”

“You got back soon.”

“Well you said it was important.”

Arnav kissed Khushi’s cheek and walked through the door, loosening his tie. He put his laptop a side and greeted Lavanya. Arnav sat down on the sofa and Khushi came back and sat beside him.

“Well, well, well. Pooja, go ahead and tell us. Why were you out to ruin mine and Khushi’s relationship?”

“Arnav, let her talk. Please Pooja, tell us.”

Pooja’s eyes welled with tears; she pushed them aside and began telling her story.

“Sameer is my boyfriend, we’ve been together a while now. And I don’t think I need to tell you much, but obviously we were serious about each other, hence how I ended up pregnant. I found out that I was pregnant a few days before Arnav’s birthday. Sameer told me straight out to have an abortion because we couldn’t afford a baby. I told him I couldn’t do that. He then remembered me telling him about my best friend, the one that had his own company. Sameer said that I could keep the baby if I made it look as though it was Arnav’s baby. I told him I couldn’t do that because me and Arnav never shared that kind of relationship and I hadn’t seen him in a while and frankly I didn’t want to do anything of sort because its wrong. But sameer wouldn’t listen. So then I tracked Arnav down and I came to the party but then I found out that you guys were together and I couldn’t do anything. To be honest with you, seeing you together I felt jealous, because I saw how you were with each other and realised that Sameer and me had never been like that.”

Pooja stopped and she couldn’t go on. She was crying a lot. Khushi went over to her and handed her a tissue and wrapped her arm around her.

“Shh, it’s going to be ok. You don’t have to say anything more.”

“Yes she…”

Khushi stopped Lavanya from speaking. Arnav and Lavanya looked at each other, not content with what they had found out so far. Pooja pulled herself together and then continued talking.

“I have to tell you everything. You deserve to know. so after the party I went back to Sameer and told him that I couldn’t do anything because Arnav was with someone. But again he said that either I carry out the plan or I get rid of the baby. So then afterwards I found that Arnav was working at the university. I went there one day and I…”

“You framed my brother in law and said that he slept with you.”

Pooja started crying again and Khushi threw Lavanya a look, warning her not to say anything. Then Pooja began speaking again.

“I mixed sleep medication with Arnav’s drink and got him to drink it. Once he was asleep I took his clothes off and put him into bed.”

Arnav felt Khushi hold his arm tightly. Clearly the thought of another girl taking his clothes off got to her.

“As Arnav was asleep I too feel asleep afterwards on the sofa. Then the next morning I called you, Khushi, from Arnav’s phone so that you would come and then got undressed myself, so that you saw me the way you did when you walked in.”

Arnav looked at Pooja angrily and then spoke.

“Because of what you did that night, I almost lost Khushi.”

“I know and I’m really sorry, but I had no other choice. After all of that, I left and then came back only a few days before you guys got back and told everyone that I was pregnant with Arnav’s child. No one would listen to me, wouldn’t believe me, they said that Arnav wouldn’t do that because he was in love with Khushi. But then there was Dadi. I don’t think she really believed me, but she listened to me and took me in because of the fact that if I was pregnant with Arnav’s child, that meant that my kid would be the family’s heir and dadi couldn’t throw that away, so she took me in.”

Pooja stopped and cried. That was the end of that story. Then Lavanya spoke.

“So you’re telling me, you did all this because you and your boyfriend couldn’t afford your own baby, so you decided to come and mess with jiju and Khushi’s?”

“You don’t understand Lavanya, I had no other option.”

“Well if you knew you couldn’t afford to have a kid, why weren’t you more careful to make sure that you wouldn’t get pregnant? And the truth is, you may have conned us all now, but what were you planning on doing, saying the baby was jiju’s all your lives so that the Raizada family would fund you forever?”

“No, no, I was going to get a job and Sameer was going to do something to and then we would have got married and then obviously there would have been his family too to help us out.”

“But think about it, you kept thinking about the future, what about now? Wouldn’t it have made more sense to listen to him and just abort the baby?”

“I couldn’t. not again.”

Khushi looked up, her eyes huge.

“What do you mean, again?”

“This is my second baby. I… He made me abort the first because of our financial problem.”

Pooja started crying heavily and Khushi too had tears in her eyes.

“I love kids, I always have. And I hate myself that I aborted my first baby.”

Lavanya still couldn’t feel much remorse.

“Well you and Sameer clearly have problems. Haven’t you heard of protection?”

Arnav stifled a chuckle and Khushi looked between her friend and her husband and looked shocked.

“Have you two not realised how serious this is? Pooja had to terminate her first baby because Sameer was an idiot. Lavanya how would you feel if you were in her position?”

Lavanya and Arnav stopped and looked at Khushi. Pooja hid her face in her hands.

“I’m ashamed of what I have done and what I’ve had to do in the past. I don’t know what to do any more. I’m sure Sameer expected me to abort the baby again and now he’s keeping away from me. It’s only recently I’ve understood. He doesn’t want the baby, he doesn’t care about our child or my feelings, he just wanted my body!”

Khushi jumped to her feet and sat beside Pooja and hugged her. She stroked her back and whispered for her to stop crying.

“Pooja, shh. It’s going to be ok. We’re going to help you.”

“No Khushi, I can’t take any help from you guys, not after everything I’ve done.”

“No we will help you and you can’t stop us from doing so. Di runs a trust for women who need help during pregnancy. But Pooja, don’t your parents know?”
”I’ve been staying away, telling them I have a job here, so they haven’t seen me since I’ve been pregnant.”

“You should go to them, they can help you. They may not be ok with it to start with, but they’ll understand, they’re your parents.”

“But what will I say when they ask about the dad?”

“Tell them the truth.”

Pooja snivelled and then nodded.

“Thank you Khushi. Thank you for giving me a chance to explain myself after everything I’ve done. Thank you for everything. I’m going to go and tell my parents everything but before that I have to eradicate a certain bastard from my life.”

Pooja got to her feet.

“Thank you for everything. Really it means so much to me. Everything, from the hot chocolate to the care and advice. Thank you.”

“Any time. and if you ever need anything, you know where to find us. Stay in touch and make sure you tell us when you have the baby!”

“I will. I wish you and Arnav all the best for your future and Lavanya, I know you don’t like me and I’m fine with that. After what I’ve done, I understand why you can’t trust me, I almost ruined your best friends life. But I am honestly, truly sorry. I wish you and NK the best. And Arnav, I don’t know what to say to you, I’m ashamed of what I have done. I abused our age old friendship, but I hope one day you can forgive me.”

“if my wife has forgiven you and accepted you despite everything you did, then I guess I too forgive you. After all you are my best friend.”

Pooja hugged Arnav out of happiness and then turned back to Khushi and hugged her. She waved to them all, gathered he bag and then left.

Forgotten Love ~ Part 9

It was probably one of the lightest kisses they had ever shared. After a short while, Arnav pulled away. Khushi slowly opened her eyes and looked at Arnav. She blushed and then smiled. Then her expression changed. She looked at Arnav shocked and ran. He called out for her, but she didn’t stop. She reached the door and knocked and Hari Prakash opened. She rushed into the house and ran up the stairs as fast as she could.

“Hi Khushi… Ji?”

Khushi ran straight past NK with an unreadable expression, not even acknowledging his presence. NK would have gone after her but then saw Arnav too run into the house, calling after her. He ran up the stairs and saw NK.

“What happened Nanav?”

“I kissed her.”

“Wow really? But why?”

“I don’t know.”

Arnav rushed after Khushi and stopped at their bedroom door. It was shut. He knocked on the door, but there was no answer.

“Khushi?”

No reply. Arnav decided he would leave her for now and come back in a bit. Inside Khushi was lying on the bed, faced down, clutching a pillow to her chest. She was breathing heavily. She turned to lie on her back. She touched her lips and smiled.

“He kissed me? He kissed me! He actually kissed me!”

Khushi got to her feet and did a little happy dance.

“That means he’s interested in me! But why me? I’m nothing special. But he says that he finds me beautiful. The most beautiful woman he’s ever seen. That means that he does like me!”

Khushi continued to dance around the room where there was another knock.

“Khushi?”

“Jiji!”

Khushi rushed to the door and opened it. Payal walked into the room looking nervous and shut the door behind her.

“Are you ok?”

“Yes!”

“NK said that you ran straight into the house and you looked preoccupied. Is everything ok? Did everything go ok?”

“Jiji it was amazing!”

Khushi began telling Payal everything that happened from the start. She reached the end of the evening and blushed.

“And then, just before we walked into the house, he… He… He kissed me!”

 Payal’s eyes widened.

“He what?”

“He kissed me! Not a peck on the cheek, but a proper kiss! On the lips!”

“Oh Khushi!”

Payal hugged her little sister and smiled.

“How do you feel about him though Khushi?”

“I don’t know Jiji. I am definitely attracted to him. Everything about him makes me like him a little bit more. But I don’t know if I love him. But I think I do.”

Payal wanted to tell her sister the truth. Tell her how she was really Arnav’s wife and that she loved him with all her heart, but she knew Arnav wanted to make her fall in love with him on her own accord, not because they shared a relationship in the past.

“Khushi, take your time thinking about your feelings. Khushi I think you should talk to him.”

“But how can I? I mean after what’s just happened I don’t think I can face him!”

“Khushi you live in the same house, you’re going to have to face him!”

“Alright. I’ll get changed and then I’ll go and see him.”

Payal left the room and Khushi had a shower and then got dressed in her nightclothes. She pulled on one of her silky nightdresses and pulled her dressing gown on as well. She then left her room and walked to Arnav’s. She took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

“Come in!”

Khushi slowly pushed the door open and saw that Arnav was sitting in bed with his laptop. Khushi looked at him. He was wearing a white shirt with a blue jumper on top and simple white trousers.  She looked at him and smiled, he looked amazing. Arnav looked up and saw Khushi standing there looking slightly lost. He pushed his laptop aside and stood up and shut the door.

“Hey.”

“Hi.”

Khushi blushed.

“Erm, maybe I should just go.”

She turned around and attempted to open the door, but Arnav held her hand with one hand and held the door shut with the other. Khushi stopped and turned around slowly, Arnav arms resting on either side of her, so she was trapped in his arms. He lowered his hands and held her hands.

“I’m sorry. I should have said something before just kissing you like that. I understand if I made you feel uncomfortable. I’m sorry.”

“Why are you saying sorry? I came to say sorry for running away like that.”

“So you didn’t feel uncomfortable?”

“No.”

Arnav smiled and looked down at the blushing beauty that was practically in his arms.

“Then why did you run away?”

“I felt shy.”

Arnav smiled and bit his lip. He leaned down slightly and whispered in her ear.

“Can I kiss you again?”

Khushi looked at him, her eyes wide and blushed. Arnav took that as a yes, he took his hands out of hers and placed them on either side of her hips and pulled her into himself. Slowly he moved in and Khushi closed her eyes and he latched his lips onto her. Khushi wrapped her arms around Arnav’s neck and pulled him closer to himself. Arnav was driving the kiss and Khushi mimicked everything he was going. Arnav could feel her soft lips moving at the same time as his. He speeded the kiss up slightly and again Khushi copied what he was doing. His hands roamed her body. After what felt like an eternity they pulled away, in need of air.

“That was amazing. Khushi there’s something I’ve wanted to say to you for a while but I never got the chance and I think I should say it. Khushi I’m in love you.”

Khushi looked at him and gasped.

“I know its sudden and I understand if you don’t feel the same about me, but I thought, you had a right to know.”

Khushi bit her lip.

“I… I don’t know what to say. But I guess I should tell you something. Arnav I think I have fallen in love with you as well.”

Arnav couldn’t contain his happiness; he felt his heart was going to explode. He lifted Khushi off the ground and twirled her in the air. He lowered her and took her lips in another long and passionate kiss. Arnav nipped Khushi lip lightly and pushed his tongue into her mouth and she copied him. They pulled away and Arnav smiled at Khushi.

“You are beautiful Khushi, the most beautiful ever.”

“You keep saying.”

“It’s the honest truth.”

Arnav stroked Khushi’s cheek and pulled her close.

“What are we going to do about everyone?”

“What do you mean?”

“I mean what will they think when they find out about us.”

Arnav smirked.

“They’ll be delighted!”

He’s Amazing ~ Part 79

Lavanya accompanied Khushi to the Raizada house. They knocked at the door and Anjali opened it almost instantly. She ushered them both into the house and they all sat down on the sofa.

“What’s the matter di?”

“Pooja, she’s gone for a check up and she has refused for anyone to go with her.”

“So?”

“She’s got something to hide Khushi. Otherwise why wouldn’t she want anyone to go with her? Dadi even suggested that chote would take her. But she refused.”

“But maybe she just wanted to be alone.”

“Khushi, if as she says chote is the baby’s dad, why wouldn’t she want him to accompany her to see their own baby?”

“I don’t know di, that doesn’t prove anything.”

Lavanya sat there and then had a bright idea.

“Khushi, we should follow her!”

“I don’t think…”

“That’s a brilliant idea Lavanya. I doubt she would be there alone. She probably took the baby’s real dad with her!”

“Khushi, what do you say?”

Khushi looked between Lavanya and Anjali. She didn’t know what to do.

“Khushi, go. Go with Lavanya. You don’t need to confront Pooja, just see if she is there alone, or if there’s anyone with her.”

“Fine. Which hospital is she going to?”

“City hospital. You should hurry. Her appointments at 11. It’ll take about half an hour. If you get there fast enough you’ll be able to see her coming out of there.”

Lavanya got to her feet and Khushi did too.

“We’ll be back soon then di.”

They took one of the Raizada cars and they were on their way. Within minutes they reached the hospital. This was because it wasn’t very far and there wasn’t much traffic. they entered the building and reached the reception.

“Hi, we just wanted to know, where has Pooja got her appointment. She’s here to have her check up. She’s pregnant.”

“Who are you?”

“We…”

Lavanya saw that Khushi was struggling to say something so she interrupted.

“We’re her friends. We said we would come with her.”

“Oh but, you’ll have to wait outside. She already has someone with her.”

“Really who? She asked us to join her.”

“I’m not sure who he is, but I am assuming it’ll probably be the baby’s father.”

Khushi and Lavanya looked at each other. Khushi had been right. The baby wasn’t Arnav’s.

“Where are they?”

“Second room on your left.”

“Ok, thank you.”

Khushi and Lavanya rushed to where the receptionist had said and Khushi checked her watch. There was about 15 minutes left of Pooja’s appointment.

Khushi and La waited outside. They remained quiet and then something hit Lavanya.

“Can I ask you something Khushi?”

“You don’t have to ask for my permission La!”

“It’s kind of personal.”

“Go ahead, I share everything with you any way.”

“Is jiju good in bed?”

Khushi’s eyes widened at Lavanya’s question and she blushed.

“La!”

“I told you! That’s why I asked for your permission first!”

“Oh goodness. But I guess I can tell you right?”

“I think you can.”

“Yeah he is.”

“Does it feel good? You know, doing it?”

“The best feeling in the world.

Khushi blushed but then looked up at Lavanya.

“But why are you asking? I mean you should know how it feels. You’ve done it with my devar!”

“I know. But there’s something. I don’t know. When you read about it in books or in films, they depict a spark and I’m not sure if NK and me have that.”

Khushi looked at Lavanya who was clearly confused.

“Look, you and NK haven’t done it many times, that’s why you’re not feeling its there. But its not the sex that’s supposed to have the spark, its how you feel about each other that has the spark.”

“I love him, a lot.”

“And he feels the same about you. That’s what matters Lavanya, that’s what’s the main thing to look at in a relationship.”

“Are you sure?”

“Positive!”

Lavanya hugged Khushi.

“I knew talking to you would help.”

After about 15 minutes they heard the door opening and grabbed some of the magazines and hid behind them. Lavanya carefully pulled her phone out and started recording through a hole she had made in the magazine. Pooja and a man walked out.

“Should we go and get something to eat?”

“I can’t. I have to get back to the Raizada’s.”

“Do you have to?”

“Yeah.”

“Pooja, what’s happening with ASR?”

“He’s staying in some apartment with his wife so he can fuck her in peace.”

“Hey, watch the language woman! But it doesn’t really matter where he’s staying does it?”

“Our plans never going to work if he doesn’t come back. Sameer, do we really have to do this? What’s the need?”

“The need is that we can’t afford this baby. So either you keep playing the game, or you can abort the kid, get it? Because it doesn’t make any difference to me.”

The guy looked at Pooja with no remorse and walked away, leaving her crying. Khushi now realised what was happening. She couldn’t contain her feelings and stood before Pooja.

“What the hell?”

“Pooja, listen to me.”

“Its not what you think Khushi. Really the baby’s dad is Arnav! He’s just my friend.”

“Stop Pooja, stop playing this game!”

Khushi’s voice remained gentle. Pooja looked at Khushi with big eyes and hugged her, crying bitterly. Khushi patted her on the back, shushing her, trying to get her to stop crying. After a while Pooja pulled herself together.

“Let’s go somewhere and talk.”

Pooja nodded and she, Lavanya and Pooja made there way back to Arnav and Khushi’s flat. Khushi sat Pooja down on one of the sofa and then went to make them all hot chocolate. Lavanya sat opposite Pooja, eyeing her darkly. Just then the phone rang and Khushi gestured Lavanya to answer it.

“Hello?”

“Lavanya?”

“Yup.”

“It’s Anjali. Where are you guys? How come you haven’t got back yet?”

“We’re at Khushi and jiju’s flat.”

“So what did you find out about Pooja?”

“She’s here with us right now?”

“What, why?”

“You should ask your sister in law that.”

“Please pass the phone Khushi.”

“Sure.”

Lavanya walked over to Khushi and handed her the phone.

“Hello?”

“Khushi, what on earth’s going on?”

“Di, I’ll explain everything later. I’ll call you back in a bit.”

“Ok.”

Khushi disconnected the call and then dialled for Arnav.

“Hey baby, what’s happening?”

“Arnav can you come back?”

“Why? What’s the matter Khushi, is everything ok?”

“It’s Pooja. We’re getting to the bottom of all of this.”

“I’ll see how soon I can get there.”

“Alright. Drive safely.”

Khushi disconnected the call and took the mugs and sat down next to Lavanya, opposite Pooja.

“So, starting talking. What’s happening?”

“I don’t know where to start from.”

“It would be a good idea you start from the beginning and tell us why the hell you were trying to mess my sister and her husband’s relationship up.”

“La, calm down.”

“Pooja, why did you act as though you slept with Arnav? We both know nothing of that sort happened.”

“How do you know?”

“Well to start with, I believe you, when you said that you and Arnav spent the night together, but then when you said he was your first, I knew something was amiss.”

“How though?”

“Because if you were a virgin, there would have been, if not a lot, blood on the bed. Although that wasn’t enough information. Then I looked at how long into your pregnancy you were and found that the child couldn’t be Arnav’s because you must have got pregnant at least a month before that supposed night.”

Pooja looked at Khushi.

“So are you going to tell us why you did all this?”

“Khushi, what’s there to know? She was a jealous bitch that couldn’t stand to see Arnav jiju with anyone else.”

“No. It’s not that. Pooja why?”

“I guess I should start explaining right from the start.”

She took a deep breath and then began telling her story.

Forgotten Love ~ Part 8

Their movie had ended and Arnav and Khushi were now making their way to the hotel where they would have dinner. Khushi was sitting beside Arnav and couldn’t help but steal glances at him.

After they had shared a long hug during intermission, Khushi had gone back and sat very close to Arnav while they were watching the rest of the film. One reason was because the creep Rahul was still eyeing her lustfully. But the main reason was to be close to Arnav.

Now during the drive to the hotel, Khushi kept stealing glances at Arnav. He was good looking, very good-looking. And he smelt divine.

“Were here.”

“Oh.”

Khushi pulled herself out of the trance she was under and smiled. Arnav got out of the car and then he went round to help her out. Khushi took Arnav’s hand and got out of the car slowly. She took extra long, just so that she could hold his warm hand for longer. She got out and let go of him and they made their way into the hotel.

“Good evening sir.”

“Good evening.”

“Name?”

“Mr and Mrs Arnav Singh Raizada.”

“Right, table 10 then.”

The waiter left from behind the desk and showed them to their table. It was a lone one with lots of little lights, creating a highly romantic atmosphere. However Khushi wasn’t really paying attention to the decorations, her mind was still on what Arnav had said.

“Mr and Mrs Arnav Singh Raizada?”

Arnav noticed Khushi in deep thought. The waiter left them with menus and said that he would return in 10 minutes to take their order.

“What’s the matter Khushi?”

“Nothing, I…”

Khushi looked at Arnav.

“No, I know when there’s something on your mind Khushi. What’s the matter?”

“It’s just, when the man asked for our name, you said Mr and Mrs Arnav Singh Raizada.”

“Oh, that.”

Arnav mentally cursed himself.

“It was a mistake. When I was making the reservation I said to them it was Arnav Singh Raizada and Khushi. I guess they must have assumed that you were my wife or something because when the man repeated it to me he said Mr and Mrs Arnav Singh Raizada. I did correct him, but he said that it wouldn’t make much of a difference so we left it.”

“Oh.”

Khushi looked down and pretended to be reading the menu. To be honest she was feeling slightly disappointed. For a crazy moment she really did think that she and Arnav were married.

“I’m sorry for the confusion Khushi.”
”It’s ok. Really it is.”

Khushi looked away again and then a moment later looked at Arnav again.

“Do you care about me Arnav?”

“Of course I do!”

“How much do I mean to you.”

“You’re my friend Khushi! You mean a lot to me.”

“Just friend?”

“Well best friend!”

Khushi smiled and nodded her head. The way she felt about him was wrong. The attraction was wrong. He didn’t care about her in that way. She was just a friend. And she really couldn’t say anything about her own feelings because she didn’t know what she felt for him. Just because he was warm, smelt nice and made her heart beat speed up, didn’t mean she loved him. Did it? Indeed she liked him, but that must be all. After all she hadn’t known him for long. Well she had but all past memories were gone.

Khushi continued to think about her feelings for Arnav and decided that she was wasting her time thinking about things like that. Arnav would never want a girl like her. She was average; she was nothing special at all. A man like him would want the best and nothing less and she was nowhere near the best.

Arnav watched Khushi ponder over her thoughts. He coughed quietly to get her attention.

“Should we order?”

“Sure.”

Khushi looked down at the menu and picked out some things, which she thought, sounded interesting and she thought she would like. Arnav ordered the same.

“You shouldn’t order the same as me, I’m just choosing anything out of random.”

“You’re choice is always good, so I don’t see why not.”

Their food took about 20 minutes to arrive and during this time they spoke about different things. They spoke about the babies which were soon to join the family, what they could gift their parents of the babies and what could be potential names for the babies.

“I like Aarav and Arushi.”

“I do to.”

“Maybe I should suggest them to di and Jiji.”

“I think we should save them for our… I mean you should save them for your kids.”

Arnav cursed himself again. He knew this would be a hard evening, but he had thought it was because of the fact he would find it hard to keep his hands off her, now he realised it was harder to stop saying things which linked them together.

Khushi smiled and pretended that she didn’t notice his slip up. Her thought went into over drive once more.

“He said our kids. Well he didn’t say it, but he was going to! What does that mean though? Does it mean he wants to have a future with me?”

Arnav noticed her in deep thought once more and got up.

“Before the food comes, I’ll quickly go to the bathroom. I’ll be back in 2 minutes.”

Khushi nodded and Arnav left. Arnav rushed into the bathroom and pulled his phone out. He dialled the first person he could think of.

“Nanav mera Bhai! Why are you calling me when you are on a date!?”

“NK I need dating advice!”

“I suggest you do.”

“Do what?”

“Kiss her.”

“I’m not going to kiss her!”

“But if you do, you will be guaranteed a second date!”

“I AM NOT GOING TO KISS HER!”

“Nanav mera Bhai, it isn’t anything gross, it’s a lovely feeling, kissing a girl.”

“You fool, I know how it feels. I’ve been married for a year, I’ve kissed my wife plenty of times during that period.”

“If you don’t want advise on kissing what do you want my help for? Wait, Nanav, you’re not planning on… Are you?”

“Am I what?”

“Are you planning on bedding her?”

“NK have you actually gone crazy!?”

“Well are you?”

“NO!”

“Again Nanav its nothing disgusting. I personally don’t know how it feels to do it, but I have heard it’s the best feeling in the world.”

Arnav shook his head.

“It is the best feeling in the world.”

“Wait, does that mean you and Khushi Bhabi have done it!?”

“Of course we have! We’ve been married for a YEAR you know. Did you really expect me to become a monk and not touch my utterly sexy wife at all?”

“Nanav, too much information now. Just tell me why did you call?”

“You’re a flirt right?”

“Of course I am.”

“Well what do you talk about on a date, because so far I have said all the wrong things.”

“That’s easy, just talk to her, about herself. Make her feel special, praise her.”

“That’s it?”

“Pretty much.”

“That’s all you have to do. Really NK? Is that all you do on a date?”

“Yup.”

“And the girls love you because you praise them?”

“Pretty much.”

“Wow. Ok NK thanks for your help, I’ve got to get back to Khushi.”

“One last thing. Please kiss her!”

Arnav smirked and looked in the mirror.

“We’ll see.”

NK chuckled and Arnav disconnected the call. He took in a deep breath and then went back out.  He reached their table and saw Khushi sitting with a glass of juice looking extremely bored.

“Sorry Khushi. Took longer than I thought I would.”

“It’s ok.”

“The food hasn’t arrived yet?”

“No.”

“Did I tell you, you look beautiful today?”

Khushi blushed.

“Yes you did say and thank you again. You’re looking very handsome yourself Mr Raizada.”

“Why thank you.”

Arnav looked into Khushi’s eyes. She blushed and looked down. When she looked up again, he was still staring at her.

“Why are you looking at me like that?”

“Because you are the most beautiful girl I have ever set my eyes on.”

Khushi blushed but before either could say anything their food came. Khushi slowly began eating her sweet and sour prawn and vegetable soup.

“This is really nice.”

Arnav had a bit and nodded in agreement. They then went onto eating their main course. Khushi enjoyed the chicken and the roast vegetables. Finally they came to their desert, which was chocolate cake.

“I love chocolate cake!”

“I know you do!”

Khushi began devouring her cake and Arnav ate his sugar free version of his desert. Arnav looked over the table and shook his head. He leaned forward and touched the side of her lips. Khushi stopped everything and looked at him, her eyes wide. He rubbed her lips with his thumb and then pulled away.

“You had cake on the side of your lips.”

He licked his thumb.

“It’s delicious.”

Khushi blushed and looked away.

They were practically home now. Khushi had enjoyed their time at the hotel and their meal had been deeply satisfying. They pulled up in front of the house and Arnav parked his car. He got out and then walked round to Khushi’s side and helped her out.

“I enjoyed this evening. I felt it went rather well, even though we did have two creeps bothering you. I thought it went quite well.”

“I agree. It was nice. Thank you.”

Arnav looked at her, unsure what his next move should be. NK words played in his mind. He could practically hear NK right now.

“Just kiss her Nanav.”

Arnav stepped forward and took hold of both of Khushi’s hands. She looked at him slightly confused, unsure of how she should react. Arnav looked straight into her eyes and then moved it. He leaned down slightly and angled his head. Taking his time he moved in, giving her enough time to realise what was going on and if she wanted to, to pull away. But Khushi remain standing where she was, she closed her eyes and felt Arnav’s lips gently touch hers. He pressed their lips together lightly and kissed her. It was probably one of the lightest kisses they had ever shared. After a short while, Arnav pulled away.

He’s Amazing ~ Part 78

Arnav woke up the next morning and looked at Khushi who was still sound asleep. It had been another long night and now he had to get ready and go to work. He didn’t want to go to work, but knew that he had to. Arnav got out of bed and went into the bathroom and got ready. By the time he had finished his shower, Khushi too had woken up and was lying in bed, staring at the ceiling.

“Good morning baby.”

“Good morning.”

“You’re already ready?”

“Yup, I have to go to the office.”

“Oh.”

Khushi sat up and clutched the covers close to herself.

“But that means I’ll be here alone!”

“Nope, I called Lavanya as soon as I woke up, she said she’ll come over.”

“But what about you? I want you here too.”

“Baby, I’ll be back soon.”

“Wait, you can’t go anywhere yet, we haven’t had breakfast yet!”

“I know. I’ll go whip something up, you go and have a shower.”

“Ok.”

Khushi held the covers together and made her way to the bathroom. She had her shower and then came out. She got dressed and went into the dining area, where Arnav had breakfast ready.

“This looks gorgeous.”

“Lets hope it tastes good as well!”

Arnav saw down in the seat beside Khushi and they began eating. Just before Khushi finished her food there was a knock at the door. Arnav got up to answer it.

“OH wow! Jiju this place is AWESOME!”

“I’m glad you like it Saali saaiba.”

“Since when have you started calling me that?”

“Jijaji inspired me. He called me Saale Saab, so seeing as you’re my Saali, I’ll call you Saali Saaiba.”

“Right. I think I liked Miss Kashap better.”

Khushi finished eating and washed her hands and went to see Lavanya.

“Hey La!”

“Khushi!”

The two friends hugged and Arnav smiled.

“Well I’ll be off. You guys have fun; please don’t burn my apartment down! I know what you two are like when you are together.”

Lavanya giggled.

“I’ll try not to cause too much damage jiju. By the way, I invited Sia as well. She really wanted to see Khushi, is that ok with you?”

“I’m fine with that.”

“Thanks!”

Arnav nodded to Lavanya and walked to Khushi. He pulled her close and kissed her full on, on the lips. Khushi returned the kiss and then they pulled away.

“Come home soon.”

“I will babe. Bye.”

Arnav picked his laptop bag up and then left. Lavanya looked at Khushi awe struck and then spoke.

“Next time you guys want to snog, please don’t do it in front of me!”

“Honestly Lavanya, you act like you’re so oblivious to these things. And be grateful, that was hardly anything!”

Lavanya helped Khushi tidy the kitchen and then they looked around the apartment.

“It must be nice, living here, on your own.”

“I guess it is, I mean it’s just us, but seeing as it’s only my first day here, I don’t know. I think if you weren’t here, it would have been quite boring.”

“But it’ll be nice when you get used to it. You don’t have to get out of bed early, you don’t have to look your best all the time, I mean, if you wanted you don’t even have to get dressed in the morning! You can just walk around in your nightie and there would be no one here to say anything.”

“I know what you mean, but I want to live in the Raizada house. With everyone else. We’re just here to get away from Pooja.”

“What are you going to do about her any way?”

“I don’t really know yet. I mean there’s something that I have found, but that’s not enough.”

“Oh, what have you found?”

Khushi confined in Lavanya her finding and Lavanya looked at her.

“Khushi that’s more than enough to know she’s lying.”

“I don’t know. I still think there could be loopholes that she could find to prove that we’re wrong and the kid is Arnav’s. I just don’t know what to do!”

“Maybe if you got pregnant, Pooja would have the decency to butt out of your lives. Then dadi too would stop paying attention to her. The only reason dadi’s keeping her is because she’s under the impression that Pooja’s carrying the child which is the Raizada family heir.”

“I know, we’ve only been married a couple of months and were not ready to have a child yet.”

“It’s been over 4 months.”

“Which in reality is nothing.”

“True, I get what you mean. But you have to do something.”

Both girls sat in silence for a while and then the doorbell rang. Khushi jumped and went to answer the door. She opened it and was attacked by Sia.

“Khushi! I missed you so much.”

“We’ve only been away for a few days!”

“I know but it feels like forever.”

“Come in.”

Sia walked in and Khushi then realised she wasn’t alone. Ayaan too was with her.

“Hi, Ayaan.”

“Hey. Its nice to see you again.”

“Same. Why are you both still standing, sit down!”

“Thanks. Is Arnav here?”

“No he left to go to work a little while ago, why?”

“Well I was going to let him in, on the good news as well.”

“And that is?”

Sia bit her lip and then jumped.

“Let me tell her! Let me tell her!”

“Alright babe, you tell her.”

“When Ayaan was dropping me home the other day, mom and dad saw him and they called him back and then we told them about us. They spoke to Ayaan and saw that we were serious about each other and have accepted our relationship!”

“I then went home and told my parents about me and Sia and they accepted and my parents are going to meet hers next week to talk about our future!”

Lavanya and Khushi looked at each other and squealed out of happiness.

“Congratulations guys!”

“I guess I should also bust up my good news as well.”

All eyes turned to Lavanya and then she spoke.

“After dropping me off yesterday, NK told mom and dad about me and him and said that he’s already spoken to his parents about us. His parents are ok with it and mom and dad are ok as well! His parents are coming to India next week!”

Khushi and Sia jumped around excited.

“I guess I’m the only one who’s not got any good news to share!”

“Soon Khushi, soon.”

“Soon what?”

“You can give us the good news about our little niece or nephew.”

“Oh goodness. Not you too Sia. Look guys, we don’t want the pressure of having a child yet.”

Ayaan looked at Khushi sympathetically.

“I understand you’re and Arnav’s views. A child is a big change to your life.”

“Thank you. Someone understands us.”

“But Khushi, babies are so cute! And jiju’s really, really good looking and you’re really, really pretty, so your baby would probably be the cutest baby on the planet!”

“You know Lavanya sometimes I still get the feeling that you have a crush on my husband!”

“What a crush on Jijaji, no way!! I’ve never had a crush on him!”

“Yeah right! Who was the one fawning over him in the first place? But if you didn’t, I would never have noticed him, so it’s ok.”

Lavanya blushed and then burst out.

“Ok fine! I did have a crush on jiju and I still think he’s amazingly good looking!”

“I guess I’m guilty of that as well. I always found jiju really hot.”

“Ladies, you are both in committed relationships and you are talking about a married man!”

“Aw my baby’s getting jealous.”

Sia pulled Ayaan’s cheeks and Khushi and La laughed. Sia kissed Ayaan’s cheek and then moved away and turned to Khushi looking serious.

“So Lavanya was telling me about your Pooja problem, what’s the plan?”

“There isn’t one yet.”

“I know, I know. But we can’t find anything!”

Just then the phone rang. Khushi answered it.

“Hello?”

“Khushi, its me, Anjali.”

“Di! Good morning!”

“Forget all that now. Khushi I need you to get here. I think I have just found some very important information.”

Anjali disconnected the call. She looked at everyone sitting around her.

”What happened Khushi?”

“I need to get to the Raizada house.”

“What’s happened though?”

“Di has found something.”

Forgotten Love ~ Part 7

In the car, the radio was playing and ‘Teri Meri Prem Kahani’ was playing. The drive was a quiet one. Khushi listened to the song, as this was the first time she was listening to it, or so she thought. She listened closely and then an image before playing before her eyes. She saw herself dancing, to this very song. But she wasn’t dancing alone; she was dancing with a man. The same man. The same one she saw every night when she closed her eyes, the same one, which haunted her thoughts. It was he and she had danced with him, to this very song.

Her eyes widened and the image went away.

“Arnav, you have to help me find him. Please.”

“What?”

“I saw him again. We danced, to this very song. I was wearing a green sari and he a black suit.”

“Khushi, forget about him for know, when the time is right you will remember everything, but for now, we have arrived and our film starts in 15 minutes.”

Khushi nodded and they left the car. As they walked towards the cinema Khushi looked at Arnav. Was he trying to stop her from remember the man she loved? Why though? He was her friend, wouldn’t he want her to be happy, to find the love of her life again? Why was he being like this, and not telling her anything about her love?

They made their way into the cinema and Arnav brought their tickets. He handed Khushi’s to her and then they made their way to get some popcorn. There was a huge queue so Arnav told Khushi to wait for him by the doors to the screening hall. Khushi obliged and went and stood there. Khushi was in deep thought about the image, which had played before her eyes in the car. Was it simply her imagination, or was it something that really happened?

As Khushi was in deep thought, she didn’t notice a man approaching her. He looked at her with lust filled eyes and touched her shoulder. This brought Khushi back to her senses and she jumped away.

“Are you here alone beautiful?”

Khushi shook her head frantically and moved away from there. The man followed her.

“Don’t be scared beautiful, a girl like you doesn’t have to be alone. If you want to watch a film, I’ll take you and then you can come home with me as well.”

“Leave me alone!”

“Ah the cat’s actually a tiger. Come on, I’ll go easy on you.”

The man reached out to grab Khushi but she ran away. Just then Arnav came out and noticed this fiasco. Khushi saw Arnav and ran and hid behind him.

“What’s the matter Khushi?”

“Th-tha-that man!”

Khushi pointed to the guy.

“What about him?”

“He’s saying things, things like he wants to take me home…”

Arnav felt a surge of possessiveness roar through his body. He pushed the popcorn into Khushi’s hand and then marched towards the other man. He grabbed him by the collar.

“What the hell are you playing at?”

“Mate, I…”

“How dare you say such things to her! Get out of this place now, and I’ll spare you.”

The man rushed away and Arnav walked back to Khushi. He held her hands.

“I’m sorry I left you on your own.”

“It’s ok.”

“No its not. I’m sorry Khushi.”

“Its ok Arnav, really it is. We should get in now otherwise the movie will start.”

“Ok.”

Arnav and Khushi made their way in and found their seats. They sat down and the lights went down and the trailers started to run.

Arnav watched Khushi’s expression when she realised it was a Salman Khan film.

“Salman Khan!”

“Yup.”

“I love him!”

“I know you do.”

“Thank you Arnav!”

the movie started and Khushi settled down. There were two men sitting on the other side of Khushi.

“She’s a pretty one.”

“I know.”

“Make a move brother! No woman can resist you!”

The guy smiled and leaned over to Khushi’s side.

“Hi, I’m Rahul. And you are?”

Khushi looked at the man and pulled a face.

“Not interested.”

Rahul looked over and saw Arnav watching them.

“You’re with that guy? Him? That stuck up one?”

“I’m trying to watch the film. Can you please leave me alone?”

“Come on beautiful, ditch that guy, you’ll have more fun with me than he’s ever been able to give you.”

Arnav placed his arm around Khushi’s shoulders and pulled her towards himself and Khushi placed her hand or Arnav’s arm.

“I’m sorry, but I don’t need you to give me ‘fun’ I’m happy with what I have thank you very much.”

Rahul looked away angrily and Arnav looked at Khushi. Did she know she just say what she was saying to get the other guy to leave her alone? Of course she was.

Khushi kept her hand on Arnav’s arm. Even though she wanted to remove it, she found she couldn’t. Sitting here like this with Arnav was the best thing she had ever felt. He was so warm and it just felt so right. Khushi cuddled in closer as they watched the film and Arnav ran his fingers down her exposed arm. Khushi felt a jolt of electricity run up her arm and felt as though Arnav had left a burning path on her arm. Khushi looked at him and Arnav pulled himself away from her. Khushi looked at him confused and saw that he made himself comfortable again and started watching the film.

Khushi thought to herself.

“Could the man she keeps thinking about be Arnav? But if it was him, why wouldn’t he simply tell her? Could it be because he didn’t love her back? that would make sense, that’s probably why he never told her anything about the man she loved. But then it may not be Arnav. It may have been someone else, but maybe they hadn’t loved her back and now Arnav was trying to protect her, help her move on. This must be the case, otherwise if someone did love her; they would have come looking for her. And why would a man love her back any way, she wasn’t anything special. She was pretty, nor smart, nor funny.”

Khushi’s mind pondered on the topic, but she couldn’t find a solution, nothing made sense. But she decided that she would forget about the silhouette man and move on and enjoy herself. Arnav noticed this and tapped her on the shoulder.

“It’s intermission, should we go get some more popcorn?”

“Ok.”

They were getting more popcorn when Arnav noticed that Khushi was staring at nothing in particular.

“What’s the matter Khushi?”

“Nothing, I’m just thinking.”

“What are you thinking about?”

“Nothing.”

Khushi thought if she should ask Arnav what had been on her mind. And then she decided she should.

“Do you think I’m beautiful?”

Arnav looked at Khushi thoughtfully and then smiled.

“Would you like me to lie or tell you the truth?”

“Lie.”

“You are the ugliest woman I have ever met in my life and I pity myself for ever meeting you.”

Khushi looked slightly taken aback, as though she had forgotten that he was lying. Arnav chuckled and held Khushi’s bare shoulders.

“You are the most beautiful woman to have crossed me ever. You’re eyes are hypnotic and your smile dazzles the world. But what makes you most beautiful is your personality, your kind heart. You are a blessing to us all. When you moved in with us, we knew that it was a good day for us. Because we had just received another amazing person without even doing anything special.”

Khushi blushed and the praise and compliment Arnav had just paid her. She couldn’t contain her happiness and hugged him. Arnav wrapped his arms around Khushi slowly and looked at the top of her head and smiled. She was so warm, how she wished he could hold her like this all the time again, but he knew he had to wait, wait until the time was right so he could present himself to her once more.

Khushi stood there, in Arnav’s arms, listening to his heartbeat. Like hers his too quickened when she held him closer and tighter. He was warm and smelt divine. There was something about Arnav, something that made her want to hold on to him, but she didn’t know what it was. There was something there between them, but she couldn’t quite put her finger on it and say what it was.

She then decided what she was going to do. She was going to forget about the past, forget trying to put pieces together and start her life all over again.

He’s Amazing ~ Part 77

Arnav and Khushi had their bags packed and were ready to go. Everyone had agreed that it maybe better if that spent some time away from the house. Dadi wasn’t too pleased with the idea, however Nani explained to her and she agreed. Arnav took hold of the two little bags they had and Khushi took their leave.

They left the house with everyone’s blessings. Khushi turned around and saw that Pooja was looking at them from the window. Khushi smirked and went towards Arnav. She touched his arm and smiled. Arnav looked at her.

“What’s going on?”

“I just want to be with you.”

“You are with me babe.”

“I don’t mean that, I mean, you know.”

Khushi blushed and Arnav looked at her.

“Someone’s getting very bold isn’t she?”

Arnav led Khushi into the car and they set off. It wasn’t a long drive however if felt very long for Arnav, this was simply because Khushi, who was sitting beside him, had her hand on his thigh and was stroking him all the way to their flat. Due to this Arnav felt himself harden and found it hard not the put his foot on the break and take her there and then in the car.

They reached the block of apartments and Arnav parked the car.

“When did you buy this place?”

“Just before I started working at the university. It closer to AR and my original plan was that once I got married, me and my wife would be living here, on our own all the time.”

“So it’s more or less empty?”

“No. I brought it fully furnished.”

“So I shouldn’t expect it to be anything as special as our bedroom then?”

“You’ll see.”

Arnav grabbed the bags and they made their way to their flat. Khushi found that their apartment was on the second floor. Arnav opened the door and Khushi walked in. it wasn’t very big, however it seemed very spacious. They walked straight into the living room. On the wall was a large flat screen TV mounted. There were also 2 large cream sofas there. There was a cream marble coffee table in the middle. Joined to the living room was the kitchen. The dining table was placed there as well. Arnav then led Khushi out of the kitchen and through another door, which took them into the bedroom. Khushi looked around the room. It was huge and the bed was even bigger than the ones she was used to. Before she could notice anything else, Arnav had grabbed her by the waist and taken her down onto the bed and began pulling her clothes off. Arnav pinned Khushi down onto the bed and held her wrists.

“I’m going to seduce to such an extent, you will be begging me to take you after about 5 minutes.”

“I’m a tougher nut than that Mr Raizada.”

Khushi had no clothes on herself now. It wasn’t a hard job for Arnav seeing as Khushi hardly resisted at all. Once he had all her clothes off her, he began stripping off his own clothes.

Arnav came back on top of her and Khushi eyed his manliness. He was hardening, she could tell he still wasn’t at his hardest. Arnav drew circle around her nipples, making them stand up, proud, seeking attention. Arnav lowered his mouth and took one of her tight nipples in. Khushi clawed at Arnav’s back and moaned out. She arched back into the bed, pushing her chest out further, meaning more of her nipple was going into Arnav’s mouth. With one hand he strummed her other nipple and the other hand travelled down her body, leaving a fiery path as it went. His hand reached her femininity and he rubbed her there. Khushi gasped and moaned and her body arched to meet his. He rubbed harder and then pushed a finger into her. Khushi’s body stilled and then he insides came to life around his finger. Arnav withdrew his finger and then pushed it back in again. He continued to do this until he felt Khushi’s body loosen up and then pushed another finger in.

“I know you said you were going to seduce me, but please Arnav, stop!”

“It’s your punishment baby.”

“For what?”

“Not letting me sleep all night yesterday.”

Arnav pulled himself away from Khushi completely and looked down at her. Khushi whimpered slightly. Arnav lowered himself again, this time he took his head on top of her femininity. Arnav settled himself between her legs and then licked her. Khushi gasped and she took hold of his shoulders. He pushed his tongue into her and licked her, flicking over her sensitive bud. Khushi moaned out.

“Arnav, please.”

He paid no heed to her and continued his oral torture. Khushi moaned over and over again, her moans getting louder by the moments that passed. Arnav’s tongue remained strong within her, licking her liquid desire. Khushi soon reached her orgasm. Arnav watched as she came and called his name out. Her body went still and she took deep breaths. Arnav stroked her face and held her close to himself.

“Why do you do that? Always make me come once before we actually make love?”

“I want to give you the utmost amount of pleasure before taking my on pleasure.”

Khushi’s breathing came back to normal and then Arnav began kissing her face. He placed himself above her and looked into her hazel eyes. Khushi nodded and Arnav plunged into her wet and warm core. This was the one thing that would always feel new, no matter how many times they did it. That feeling when he entered her and filled her, always felt new and amazing. He was so big, so strong and so long, yet he filled her perfectly as though they were custom made for each other.

All through life the though of sex made Khushi vomit in her mouth. She couldn’t understand why people would want to do it, why they would want to join their bodies in such a way. As she went through he last teenage years, she understood it more and understood why people would want to do it. However vowed that she would never, EVER want to do it. There was no particular reason for it, but she just didn’t want to. But then Arnav walked into her life. The sexual attraction wasn’t there right from the start, however it was something, which grew as time passed. By the time they did do it for the first time, Khushi was more than willing to give her body to Arnav. She didn’t know what fuelled this change in her, but it had happened.

Arnav withdrew and then pushed himself back into her, he did this over and over again. At the same time, he kissed her face, neck and chest. Khushi lifted her hips to meet him thrust for thrust. Her breathing was shallow and she called out his name in a husky tone every couple of minutes.

“Ahh, harder Arnav.”

“I, I don’t want to hurt you baby.”

“You wont, just ahh, go harder.”

Arnav pushed himself in and out her faster and with a higher intensity. Khushi wrapped her legs around his waist tightly. Arnav groaned and the sound of flesh rubbing against flesh filled the room. Arnav felt Khushi muscles clench around him violently and he slowed down the pace again. But even then, she was getting closer and closer.

“Babe, open your eyes. Look at me.”

Khushi opened her eyes and looked straight into Arnav’s dark molten orbs. His eyes were so much darker than usual. After a few more thrusts Khushi climaxed and Arnav too released, sending his warm stream through Khushi’s channel.

Arnav kissed Khushi’s face and smiled at her.

“Thank you. For trusting me, for having faith in me.”

“I will always trust you, always have faith in Mr Raizada.”

Arnav held Khushi close to his body and he looked at her.

“But Khushi, we can’t keep doing this. Leaving everything to come and make love. Khushi we need a plan. We need to do something and get Pooja out of the way.”

“Now who’s the one talking about irrelevant things after making love?”

“Khushi I’m serious though. This Pooja problem is making me go crazy. We have to do something.”

“Oh, I don’t…”

Khushi suddenly remembered something and jumped up.

“Arnav, she said that you were her first and that she lost her virginity to you that night.”

“Yeah she did.”

“We have the first piece of information to expose her then!”

“And that is?”

Khushi explained her findings to Khushi and he too realised the same thing.

“Khushi you are a genius!”

Arnav kissed Khushi’s face and then pulled back.

“A kiss. Is that all? I’ve just found the first piece of information to prove your innocence!”

Arnav laughed and pulled Khushi back down onto the bed.

Within the few minutes the room was once more filled with the sound of passionate moans.

Forgotten Love ~ Part 6

Two weeks had passed since Khushi’s accident and she had been recovering well. Within a few days she had reformed her relationship with all of the Raizada’s and was highly fond of them. The Raizada’s too had to get used to a new Khushi. But they found that because of this they all made a new bond with her and found the chance to fall in love with the innocence of Khushi all over again.

However the only person who wasn’t benefiting from all of this was Arnav. He was having a hard time getting used to the new Khushi. But more than that he was having a hard time even talking to her. Over the last few weeks, AR designs had managed to bag a huge deal and because of it Arnav spent a lot of time at the office. If he wasn’t at the office he was in his room working and when he had the chance to try and make conversation with Khushi, she was overly formal or shied away. This was getting to Arnav, he wasn’t used to Khushi being like this.

Khushi was in her room applying moisturiser to her arms. She turned around to find that Arnav was watching her from the poolside where he was watering his plants. When he noticed she saw him, he looked away. Khushi looked at him and then blushed and walked over to the sliding doors. She opened them and went to stand where Arnav was.

“Hi.”

“Hey, what are you doing?”

“Nothing, just getting ready to go down to dinner. You?”

“Watering my plants.”

“That’s nice.”

Khushi looked at him awkwardly and then turned around to walk away when Arnav had a bright idea.

“Khushi, listen.”

Khushi turned around.

“Yes?”

“I was thinking maybe we could go watch a movie together tomorrow. Just you and me. You know just spend some time together. Like we used to before.”

“Well, I don’t know. What will everyone say?”

“They’ll be fine with it! If you want I’ll ask over dinner.”

“Ok then. If they agree then its fine with me.”

Arnav and Khushi made their way down the stairs together, talking about what they could watch. They sat down at the table and dinner was served.

“Nani, can me and Khushi go watch a film tomorrow?”

“I have no objections to that. Do you ankina?”

“Of course not! You go and enjoy the film!”

“Thanks nani, thanks mom.”

“Thank you Naniji, thank you maaji.”

“You’re both very welcome.”

Arnav smiled at Khushi and she smiled back. Khushi began eating slowly and felt Arnav’s knee resting against hers. Khushi bit her the side of her lip at the feel of Arnav’s knee on hers. His hand brushed against her thigh and she felt of electricity run through her body. She couldn’t understand why she had this effect whenever her and Arnav shared even the slightly physical contact. She moved herself away from him slightly, so his knee or hand was touching her.

Khushi finished her meal and sat there and watched Arnav eating his sugar free pudding. There was something about him, something that made her turn into jelly every time he looked at her.

Payal got up and Khushi too followed her into the kitchen. Payal was going to wash her plate, but Khushi stopped her.

“I’ll do that Jiji.”

“No its ok.”

“No I insist, I’ll do it.”

Payal smiled and passed the plate over. She looked at Khushi who looked as though she was in deep thought about something.

“Khushi can I ask you something?”

“Sure Jiji, you don’t need to ask me that!”

“What are you thinking about?”

Khushi went still and looked at her sister.

“Nothing.”

“Khushi, you’re lying, I know there’s something on your mind.”

“Really there’s nothing.”

“You’re thinking about Arnav ji aren’t you?”

“What? No. Why would I be thinking about him?”

“Khushi…”

“I’m going to go and see if anyone wants anything.”

Khushi left the kitchen and Payal smiled. Khushi’s disoriented state and her way of avoiding further conversation simply showed that she indeed was thinking about Arnav.

*****

There were 2 hour left until their movie would begin and Khushi still didn’t know what to wear. She stood before her wardrobe looking at the masses of suits and saris. She wasn’t going to wear a sari that was silly. But she couldn’t decide on a suit. She looked at her anarkali collection and tried to pick an appropriate one. Then Khushi’s eyes fell on a dress and she knew it was the perfect one. She took it out and went into the bathroom to get ready.

Khushi was dressed and was sitting at the dressing table wearing her earrings. There was a knock at the door.

“Come in.”

Anjali slowly opened the door and her tummy entered the room before she did.

“I just came to see if you were ready.”

“Yes I’m ready di. How do I look?”

Anjali looked at Khushi and gasped.

“Oh, do I really look bad? I knew I shouldn’t have worn this, I’ll just get changed!”

“No, no! Don’t get changed. You look stunning!”

“Really?”

“Yes! You look absolutely beautiful!”

“Are you sure di? Please be honest with me! I don’t want to make a fool out of myself.”

“I promise Khushi, you look like a million dollars!”

Thanks di. Er, is Arnav ji ready?”

“I’ll just go and check.”

Khushi nodded and Anjali left. She closed Khushi’s door and made her way to Arnav’s room. The door was open and Arnav was standing before the mirror putting his blazer on. Anjali shook her head and entered the room.

“Do you have to go out dressed like a hard headed business man? I know you are one, but some times go out dressed casually.”

“Di, this is the first time I’m taking Khushi out since the accident, I want to look good.”

“Well I must say, you are looking amazingly handsome chote.”

“Thank you di.”

“Just one thing chote, you’re going to have a harder time keeping your hands off Khushi today.”

“Why?”

“She’s looking smoking! She’s looking absolutely beautiful chote.”

“She always does…”

*****

Arnav was waiting for Khushi in the hall. Payal had told him she was ready, putting her sandals on. Then he heard her coming down the stairs, he looked up and he couldn’t help but stare. Khushi was wearing a red sleeveless anarkali. The straps holding the dress on her slender shoulders were about as thick as a pencil. She had her dupatta thrown on her neck, covering only a tiny bit of her swan like neck. Arnav swallowed down the phlegm that was in his neck and felt his hardness tighten. Anjali was right, it would take everything he had to keep his hands off her. Khushi reached the bottom of the stairs and stood before Arnav. She smiled.

“I’m ready.”

Arnav nodded and looked over Khushi’s shoulder and saw Anjali, Shyam, Payal, Akaash, NK, Nani, Manorama and Ankina all smiling at them.

“Mom, we’re going to have dinner out, so don’t cook for us.”

“Ok, chote. Enjoy your time.”

Arnav nodded and lead Khushi out. Khushi smiled and walked out.

“Was it just me, or did Khushi ji look super beautiful today?”

“NK, she’s still married to Bhai you know, you can’t make those kinds of comments.”

“But I can say that about Khushi ji in front of Nanav too, he won’t say anything.”

“He’ll probably just smash your nose.”

Everyone laughed and after a moment of looking totally shocked NK laughed too.

He’s Amazing ~ Part 76

The Raizada’s and Lavanya were sitting in the living room talking about various different things.

“So when is the next wedding then?”

NK and Lavanya looked at each other and blushed. NK looked up and then spoke.

“I’ve spoken to mom and dad, they said they’ll come to India as soon as dad can get time off from work. But me and La were speaking last night, we don’t want to get married until this pest called Pooja is out of the way.”

“Oh I agree. Chote so what’s the plan, what are we doing to get rid of her?”

Arnav looked at Khushi who simply smiled.

“I honestly have no idea di. However Khushi says she has some ideas as to what to do.”

All eyes turned to Khushi.

“So what’s the plan?”

“I don’t know yet. But I am pretty sure the baby is not Arnav’s. I just have a feeling it can’t be!”

Arnav smiled lovingly at Khushi and held her hand.

“Di whatever happens, I’m not worried any more, I have Khushi with me.”

Khushi cuddled up to Arnav. Forgetting about the fact that everyone was there, Arnav pulled Khushi close and kissed her. Everyone looked away and didn’t make a sound. Khushi pressed herself closer to Arnav and she deepened the kiss. Arnav suddenly pulled away to find his siblings and their respective partners all looking away. Khushi blushed realised that they were making out with everyone around.

“Sorry guys.”

Before anyone could say anything more, Arnav grabbed Khushi’s hand and led her to the poolside. Once there, Arnav pushed Khushi up against a wall and devoured her mouth. Khushi slipped her hands under Arnav’s shirt and ran her hands along his muscular back. Arnav found the bottom of Khushi’s kameez and pushed his hands under and cupped her breasts over her bra. Khushi moaned out and Arnav’s tongue flicked to all parts of her mouth, tasting her. Arnav moved in further and grasped the bottom of her kameez and attempted to pull it off of her. But Khushi realised and stopped him.

“What are you doing?”

“Freeing you of clothing!”

“But here?”

“Why not, our bedrooms there. No one will see us.”

“But that’s not our room at the moment, Pooja’s staying in there.”

Arnav jumped away from Khushi and looked through the glass windows and both Arnav and Khushi realised that Pooja had been watching them make out. She had an angry look on her face.

Arnav marched over to the sliding glass doors and opened them.

“What the hell are you playing at!”

“I should be asking you that! I’m heavily pregnant and you’re busy making out with another woman!”

“This woman is my wife and I don’t care your pregnant, it’s not my child is it!”

“Arnav, how many more times. It is your baby. I have never slept with anyone else! You are my first and last!”

“But I’ve never slept with you!”

Pooja walked away and went over to the cupboard and took out a file.

“Look, look, the blood groups of you and the baby match!”

“That doesn’t mean anything.”

“Arnav, why are we even arguing!”

Khushi then had an idea.

“Why not have a DNA test. Find out the truth once and for all.”

“No. I refuse to have a DNA test done. Its unethical and I refuse to have it done.”

“Why are you scared?”

“No I’m not. After the baby’s born, then fine. But not before that.”

Arnav shook his head, not knowing what to think. He went over to the wardrobe and took his clothes out.

”What are you doing Arnav?”

“Well there’s no point my clothes being here when I’m not.”

“Where are you going to go?”

“Me and Khushi are going to stay at my flat.”

“You can’t do that!”

“Can’t I? No one’s going to disagree. I am going to take my wife and we are going to live on our own where no one can get in the way of our relationship.”

“But you’re supposed to be taking care of me!”

“I don’t care about you, never have, and never will.”

Arnav took Khushi’s hand and led her out of the room.

“We can’t just leave like this. We only get back yesterday!”

“Khushi I cant stand her. And I hate thinking I might lose you! I can’t lose you!”

“You wont!”

“Khushi only I know what I went through yesterday night. I was terrified that I would lose you. Ok fine, if not permanently, then just for a few days, please Khushi, lets go and stay at my flat.”

“Fine. For a few nights. But Arnav, we have to sort this Pooja problem out. We can’t just move away and leave it.”

“That’s fine with me.”

Pooja was standing a little way away from where Arnav and Khushi were. She hurried away and went into her room and shut the door. She walked around the room, thinking what to do. Then suddenly her phone rang, she quickly answered it.

“I thought I told you not to call me!

No its ok now, I’m on my own.

Listen, we have a problem, Arnav’s leaving.

I don’t know I heard him and his wife talking. They’re saying they’re going to stay away from a few days, but I don’t know.

It’s easy for you to say that! I’m stuck here!

Listen, I’ll call you later with more information. Bye.”

Pooja disconnected the call and looked around anxiously. She was stuck, pregnant and stuck and Arnav was going to leave.

Forgotten Love ~ Part 5

“That means she doesn’t know me, or the fact that we’re married!”

Everyone looked at Arnav. His expression had changed drastically and didn’t know what to do. Then the doctor spoke.

“We have had cases like this before. She will slowly recover and if she doesn’t all you have to do is help her recreate everything that has happened over the last 2 and a half years. However I warn you, do not force her to remember things. For example don’t force her to remember you Mr Raizada. If you do, it could put her in a worse mental state and she could lose more of her memories.

“Ok, doctor.”

The doctor left and the Raizada’s looked at each other. Then Payal spoke.

“I think we should reintroduce everyone to her simply as my in-laws and we’ll make things up if we have to.”

“I agree with Payal. Bhai, don’t worry, it’ll be fine!”

Arnav nodded, however he felt blank. He thought of all the times he and Khushi spent together, all the memories they had created all the moments, which they had shared. Arnav followed everyone and they walked into Khushi’s room. Khushi smiled up at everyone even though she didn’t recognise most of them.

“Khushi, we are aware that you don’t remember half the family, but Khushi this is our family.”

“Jiji…”

“Khushi, this is. Look this is dadiji, you call her Naniji. Then this is Anjali di, that’s Shyam jiju, then this is NK.”

NK smiled to Khushi.

“Khushiji! I am your best friend, we do everything together!”

Khushi smiled to him and Payal nodded him away and then continued.

“This is Akaash, my husband, your Jijaji. Then this is maaji, you call her mamiji. Then there papa, mamaji to you. Then this is buaji, you call her maaji. And this is Arnav ji.”

Khushi looked at Arnav and smiled tentatively. Arnav returned a wobbly smile.

“Hi Khushi.”

Khushi nodded and then blushed.

Ankina noticed there was some awkwardness in the air and so told everyone that they should leave so that Payal could talk to Khushi. Everyone slowly began to leave and Arnav was the last out.

“Jiji, you know Arnav ji…”

Payal’s eyes widened.

“Do you remember anything about him?”

“No. I was just going to say, NK said me and him are best friends, does that mean me and Arnav ji are friends too?”

Payal looked at her sister and thought to herself. Then she replied.

“Yes Khushi you and Arnav ji are friends, very good friends. You could talk to him about anything and he felt the same way about you. Khushi another thing, you live with us in Raizada mansion.”

“Why, where are amma, babuji and buaji?”

“Khushi, they’ve gone back to Lucknow and babuji… He passed away.”

Khushi’s eyes pricked with tears.

“But he was happy with both of us before he went right?”

“Yes, he was.”

Khushi smiled slightly.

“Then I am happy.”

Payal hugged Khushi and simply held onto her, not wanting to let her go. Payal’s mind went to Arnav. He was still sitting outside, broken. He couldn’t handle all this but was being strong. Payal wanted to help make things better, but she didn’t know how she could.

*****

“Arnav ji, I’m going home for a bit, can you stay with Khushi and everyone else has gone so.”

“But are you sure she’s going to be comfortable with me?”

“I’m not sure, but she should be ok.”

“Alright then.”

Payal left and Arnav walked into Khushi’s room and looked at her. She looked back at him and smiled. Arnav came and sat beside Khushi and looked at her.

“How are you feeling?”

“I’m fine.”

“Do you want anything?”

“No thank you.”

“Are you sure you don’t want anything to eat?”

“No, I’m not really hungry at the moment.”

“Ok.”

Arnav looked around trying to think of something to say. Arnav opened his mouth to say something when the doctor knocked on the door.

“Mr Raizada, I just wanted to let you know that we will be letting Mrs I mean Miss Gupta go home tomorrow morning.”

“So soon?”

“Yes.”

“But she only had the accident this morning!”

“Yes but we feel that you and your family are taking more care of her than all of us, so its better you take her home.”

“Fine, but we want a nurse as well.”

“That can be easily arranged for.”

Arnav nodded and the doctor left.

“Arnav ji, there really isn’t any need to take a nurse home.”

“It would be better. I mean Payal’s pregnant, so she needs rest, so is di and then mom, nani and mamiji are old so they get tired quickly. I would volunteer myself, however I wont be able to help you if you needed to go to the bathroom or anything.”

Khushi blushed and looked away. Arnav looked at her and realised that they would have to start all over again, but he was willing, willing to do anything to get his Khushi back.

*****

Khushi had returned home and loved the site of the Raizada household. Khushi insisted that she was ok, however Arnav had order that Khushi be taken up to bed and in order to help had carried her all the way to her bedroom. Khushi had found that his hands had been soft and kind. He held her close to him and gently as though she was a baby and would break. His arms were strangely familiar and Khushi felt as though she had been in his arms in this manner before.

Arnav walked into their bedroom and placed her down onto the bed. He looked around and saw that Anjali had done a good job of removing anything that maybe have caused Khushi to be suspicious of their relationship. All of Arnav’s clothes had been moved to the guest room and all pictures had been taken down.

Arnav placed Khushi on the grand bed and looked at her. How he wanted to lay beside her, hold her whisper things in her ears, try to make her remember, yet he couldn’t. He wanted to make love to her, but again he couldn’t.

Arnav looked round nervously not really knowing what to say or do.

“Jiji, said we’re very close friends.”

“Yes we are.”

“Then that means you would know a lot about me?”

“Yes I do know quite a lot about you.”

“Then please tell me about myself Arnav ji.”

“Well firstly, you don’t call me Arnav ji. You call me Arnav.”

“But its not respectful to address an older male in such a way.”

“I know, but your relationship about respect. I mean there is respect but our relationship is mostly about our lo… I mean our fondness of each other, the fact that we can connect so well, understand each other. It’s all about our friendship.”

Arnav hated the fact he couldn’t tell her about their love, but he didn’t want her to forget about anything else.

“How much do you know about me Arnav?”

“A lot.”

“Am I in love with someone?”

Arnav looked at her, not knowing what to say.

“Why are you asking that?”

“I don’t know, inside I keep feeling as though I’ve forgotten something, SOMEONE very important. I close my eyes and I see the silhouette of a man, but that’s all.”

“Khushi, don’t worry too much. When you remember you will remember everything.”

“But if I do love someone and I’ve forgotten him, I don’t want him to think I don’t want him any more, because I’m pretty sure I do!”

“Khushi calm down. Nothing of that sort will happen.”

Khushi opened her mouth to say something when the phone rang. Arnav answered the phone and left the room.

“How do I found out who I was in love with? And does he even love me back? What do I do, how do I find out!?”

“Payal, you need to help me. I need to find a way to stop Khushi from trying to remember who she’s in love with.”

“But why?”

“I don’t know. I don’t really want her to remember, I want to make her fall in love with me again.”
